Iranian Doomsday - No More Oil!Reader comment on item: How Israel Might Destroy Iran's Nuclear Program Submitted by Robert (United States), Oct 6, 2015 at 10:22 The "nice" thing about this senario is that the dead Iranians can be kept to a minimum - no more than a hundred? Israel should declare that it will only nuke the oil fields of Iran. The people should be given a month to move out of the area in the vicinity of its oil wells. It may not even be necessary to use any bombs. Imagine, though, Iran without any oil? Or even the world without Iranian oil? How could Iran build its nuclear option without its oil to pay for it? If the fatalist Ayatollahs want the End of Days, let it come without killing any Iranians if possible - simply nuke Iran's oil reserves out of existence. But of course this would mean the need of Israel "coming out of the closet" with its nukclear arsenal - but which everyone knows already that it exists. Like Russia, Iran's economy is substantially only based in its oil or gas mining, without which it becomes an insignificant Third World international political non-entity.
