Change The Subject For VictoryReader comment on item: Achieving Israel Victory with Martin Sherman Submitted by Dave, May 14, 2017 at 21:27 Right now, the main topic of the peace conversation is the two-state solution. The trouble with this dialog is that there is an assumption that Israel eventually will be recognized, but only after fulfilling certain territorial and political conditions. This lets the Palestinians off the hook because they can use recognition as a bargaining chip, constantly upping the ante and deferring recognition forever. That's why the settlements issue is such a beautiful ruse, since there will always be some disputed piece of property somewhere that can be used as an excuse to hold up recognition. In any case, why should Israel cede land, or make any concessions, to an enemy that seeks her destruction? No, recognition must come first, unconditionally. Israel must insist on it, as should her friends and allies. And recognition must be accompanied by concrete actions, such as ending media incitement and the glorification of terrorists.
