Allowing the Palestinians to Lose WarReader comment on item: Achieving Israel Victory with Martin Sherman Submitted by Ilbert Phillips (United States), May 15, 2017 at 21:26 While I have not refined the idea to the extent that Daniel Pipes has, I have been complaining for years that the reason the Palestinian/Israeli conflict has been going on for so long is that Israel has not been allowed to win the war against the Palestinians. Each time the Palestinians are virtually dead, the United States and Europe steps in and tells Israel to stop. This has been the case since the initial 1948 war, Each time the Palestinians survive by these artificial interventions, they do not have a realistic picture of their lose. Not being allowed to lose is a form of infantilizing the Arabs, a promise that never has a good ending.
