Fairy-tale muslim named AasiaReader comment on item: Islamophobia? Submitted by John Bastile (Malaysia), Nov 23, 2005 at 11:35 I refer to the weblog submitted by Aasia, dated November 22, 2005 at 09:28.Aasia, Thank you for writing in. However, you fall into the category of a fairy-tale muslim. A fairy-tale muslim is a person so overwhelmed by the assertions of Islam that he or she is incapable of intellectual thought or rational thinking. They focused on the "attributes" of Islam but not the core readings of Islam. Similar to little children in the West who believe in the existence of Santa Clause. They believe in the 'magical world of miracles' as they follow their 'most perfect man, the mercy of humanity'. The irony is that muslims are living the lies of this dark religion spawned from a morally corrupt person. Instead of defending the faith, perhaps it is quite impossible, fairy tale muslims will continue singing "advertisement jingles" about the religion. What I still don't understand until today is - why do muslims pick advertisement jingles that are most difficult to sell. For instance, why call the prophet - the best man when he married a 6-year girl (when he was in his fifties), married his adopted son's wife, had outside marital sex with a slave, married war-captured women which ultimately led to his premature death - poisoned by one of the captive wives. When it comes to sex crimes, the prophet did all the above - paedophile, rape, incest, adultery, masturbation. Let's take the example of the rantings of a fairy-tale muslim. Aasia quoted : "As far as a muslim womans rights goes she is the freest woman on earth. Islam has been preaching women's lib far longer than any other government or state that i know of. I will not quote Haddith but go purely on sunnah." This fairy tale muslim made a comparison of all the women's right and claimed that the rights of muslim women are the freest. Let's see. She must not be from Saudi as women there are not allowed out from the house unescorted by a male companion. They cannot have driving licences. They must wear the burqa. Otherwise the vice patrol may beat her. She's not from Pakistan. Otherwise, she would have been married off at a young age. She may not be educated enough to read, yet alone contribute to weblogs. But of course, a fairy tale muslim will tell you - all the terrible things that muslims do are 'cultural' and not part of Islam. Raiding caravans was a cultural thing that Arabs do. So, Mohamed raided caravans. Having muta - temporary marriages, is a cultural thing. So, Mohammed sanctioned muta for his caravan raiders. Marrying young girls was a cultural thing to do, so Mohammed married Aisyah a 6 year old girl - despite being old enough to be her grandfather. As yes, culture. Yet, we were told that Mohammed was sent as a model for ALL mankind - not just a particular culture. Irony. Irony. Don't worry Aasia. You're a fairy-tale muslim. You wouldn't understand irony. Aasia then quoted: "... terrorists are rife i am sorry to say but look at their motivation. #1 who trained Osama bin laden???? the US what has the west done to most of the countries in the middle east, attacked taken over etc etc " Fairy-tale muslims believe that they are oppressed people. Therefore, their memory of history is always from the point where they were attacked. Let's see. Mohammed taunted and insulted the Quissay for 10 years. 10 years of insults and no harm was done unto him. Imagine, a person insulting Islam today. He'll be killed. Theo van Goh was stabbed to death. Anyway, when the Quissay retaliated, Mohammed claimed oppression. Muslims conquered Jerusalem by force. When the Christians tried to reclaim the land. Ohh, the Crusaders oppressed muslims. When Spain was reclaimed after an Islamist conquest, ohh, Spannish Inquisition. Yes, Osama may be trained by the US. Why? Well, to aid Afghanistan to reclaim their independence from Russia. I wouldn't say that US had the interests of the Afghan people more than the interest to check communism. So now, Osama has a unique way of saying thank you. This is called the muslim gratitude. Aasia also quoted: "For instance look at palestine is was islamicaaly ruled till the 1940's and the jews with the help ofd the US took over. Read the bible or Qu'raan the jews were doomed to be a wandering nation." What is it with muslims? Why do you hate the Jews so much? It's really beyond Israel as this hatred was in existence for centuries. Why the hatred to the chosen people of God? Aasia also quoted" There must be a reason Islam is the fastest growing religion. Think on that." Yes, I've thought of that. As people progressed with knowledge, they value quality life. It is quite common to understand that poor and uneducated people tend to multiple like rabbits. Islam represents a minority religion (only 20%), therefore growth is expected, Moreover, you kill apostates. Therefore, the actual figure of practising muslims may be a lot less. Anyway, I pray that muslims don't read the quran. You're a "fairy-tale" muslim. You're safe. I'm afraid of "true muslims". They read the quran. They follow the book. They will begin to kill and murder. Aasia, Nazism was once a fastest growing political ideology in Germany. It consumed the lives of millions. Communism was once a fastest growing ideology. It impovershied many people. Now, we have Islamism. It was noted as an ideology of evil and hate. What shall we do now?
