To Shakeel: Islamically speaking, life is meaninglessReader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims Submitted by Plato (United Arab Emirates), May 28, 2007 at 08:09 Shakeel you are in brackets and you write: ["but they transgress therein; ; thus the word proves true against it." It means, God knows because of His perfect knowledge what people are going to do. It does not mean that God has forced them to do it.] Why do you make it so easy for me Shakeel? If He does know what people are going to do, why does He not send them to their final resting places in Hell or Heaven without bothering to set them down on earth? What you have said just goes to show that you believe your Allah is not very intelligent. Is life on earth a game he has devised to amuse himself? Your Allah created them to transgress and then punishes them for it. It really drives me up the wall discussing this with Muslims. The simple logic of this just does not seem to penetrate. Hoping you will understand I will repeat that in different words. When you say God has not forced them into error it conflicts with your previous sentence. If Allah has created them he must have created them with those intentions otherwise how would he know what their intentions would be? Unless he creates them in such a way that he does not know how they will behave in future. He has the power to do that, but that is not what you are saying. And again, why have you truncated that verse, Shakeel. Muslims are the ones always bitterly complaining about not quoting the full verse or quoting it out of context. Just before your truncated sentence Allah said: 'And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives....' Allah has decided to destroy the town so tell us what is this commandment that he sends to the people. [These disasters are just natural disasters. And they are nothing to do with any Rasool. Also the natural disaster which comes because of Rasool annihilate all the nation, not a single person is left alive except believers. Like Aad, Samood or Noah's nation except those who were believers.Today's disaster or any other disaster, is not punishment of God because there is no Rasool today.God's punishment only comes with Rasool, else it never comes.] You say the natural disasters attached to Rasools kills all with the exception of believers in Allah. Presumably children and babies who have not had the opportunity to intone the shahada would also be annihilated. Why?I think you mentioned specifically somewhere that all are born Muslims but parents make them into apostates. Did unbelieving parents in those wrong-doing towns have the time to make children, age 0 to 10 into apostates so that Allah can with, a good conscience, crush them in earthquakes or drown them in floods? Perhaps Allah, the all-knowing, the all-wise, when he created those towns and populated them with people, including babes in arms, ensured they would be disbelievers. Allah destroying every soul in towns He created with people He knew would all be wrong-doers, is really a mercy. Nowadays Rasool-free disasters tend to leave many orphans and many more maimed for life. Truly Allah was merciful when his Rasools were around. [Banu Quraiza, I have answered you it, in three last posts. But anyway, I repeat. Banu Quraiza's fate was written by their arbitrator according to their own law not by Muhammad (sws). If Banu Quraiza asked forgiveness from Muhammad instead of seeking the verdict of third person, their situation would be different.] You have just repeated the excuse of the Banu Quraiza getting what they asked for. I have shown you an equal number of times that they were conned into accepting a man who had sworn to destroy them as their judge according to history written by Muslims, not Orientalists. [True Rasool will get a clear victory over his opponents, all of his opponents will perish and his believers will dwell over the land of his opponents, meaning opponents will be replaced by believers. Read this verse. The unbelievers said to their Rasools, "Return to our ways, or we will banish you from our land." But their Lord sent his revelation to Rasools, "We shall destroy the wrong-doers and give you the land to dwell in after they are gone" (Quran 14: 13-14)] At last I see what the Palestinian problem is all about. Allah's original favourites, the Jews, and the the then Rasool, were allowed to massacre the then wrong-doers living in Palestine and occupy that land of milk and honey. The Jews then fell from Allah's grace and became spiritually, pigs and apes. Soon Allah sends his final Rasool announcing that the special status now belongs to Muslims (Arabs). Allah allows his followers to occupy the land of milk and honey, that is Palestine. And the wrong-doing pigs and apes were given fair warning that their land would be given to the new favourites of Allah for He says in the Koran, return to our ways, or we will banish you from our land. But being pig-headed they disputed this and later managed to wrest back part of the land Allah had allowed them to usurp before Allah turned them into into apes and pigs. The Arab-Israeli dispute demystified. [I think, I have already answered it. God did not send Rasool to fight powerless humans. He sends Rasool to tell people that His promise is true and Day of Judgment will surely come, where everyone will reap what he sowed.] I don't know what this answer pertains to. If the Rasool did not come to fight powerless humans then why does Allah in the verse you yourself quoted say: Surely, those that oppose God and his Rasool, shall be humiliated. God has decreed, "I will surely triumph – I and My Rasool". Powerful is God and Mighty(Quran 58:20-21)] . Why then did he go on those interminable gazhwas to fight the wrong-doers And the so many other verses, too numerous to be enumerated here where he urges Muslims to go out and fight to make Allah's religion supreme. Shakeel you must read your Koran and not just depend on the maulvis. I have asked this question several times before. Why does this Day of Judgement exist when Allah has perfect knowledge of everyone's intentions and actions even before he is born. Why this charade being played out on earth?? [Stalin, Mao, many others, never proclaimed they are Rasool. Most of them were atheists and don't even believe in God.] Well then, I tell you I am a Rasool and I go out and humiliate my opponents and manage to defeat some in battle with a motely band of bloodthirsty believers. Will you believe I am Allah's Rasool Shakeel? If not why not? Or go to India. There are any number of god-men and god-women and god-children. They have millions of followers all over the world. They have never even seen the business end of a sword let alone threaten anyone with one like Allah's last Rasool. Your Rasool preached thirteen years to get a few hundred followers. These guys have managed millions in just a few years.( Some of them can even show you miracles (magic) like bringing out an expensive Swiss watch out of your ears.). Why should I believe only your Rasool unless threatened with a sword? [God's law is for everyone. Muslims are no exception. Whenever Muslims will forsake God's commandments, they will also be humiliated] By definition Muslims who forsake Allah's commandments are no more Muslims and deserve humiliation. You have not said anything new here. But Muslims have the consolation as your wise men will tell you that the shahada is what is really important and whatever other sins you commit will be vaporised by a short spell in Allah's tandoor and you will be welcomed into Paradise after the purification.
