Hi dear Timothy,

Thanks for your comments. I think I have something to say. I will reply to the point if 'The Creator' wills.

--- Timothy, if you have asked me this question 2 years back, I would have no choice but to agree with you. Yes, I was told by my family and everyone around me that this is a direct word from ALLAH. After reading this, you will understand a bit more what happened to me. As I havent finished writing it, you might have to wait to get the full story.

Now lets come to my answer.

--- I am not quite sure where you have found that he wrote this book (The Quraan)... but I have never heard that he wrote this book in my life... moreover Muhammad (Peace be upon him) even didnt claim that he wrote it.

--- Well NO, according to historians, it was written when he was alive. He had several people who used to write those revelations for him. You see Timothy, I said here its according to historians... that means historians might have made mistakes. Therefore you cannot rely on what the historians say. Right? You might ask me that how do I know then it was written during his lifetime and their is no human manipulation? Well, feel free to ask this question in your reply. I will Inshallah answer you. Coz, if I try to answer it here it will become a novel... he he...

"So come on give me a break. The Quraan is no more valid than any other religions holy books. Your explanation that the other books were corrupted by people (so you pay no attention to them) sounds like nothing more than an excuse to try and discredit the teachings of other religions."

--- Please do accept my apology if you think I have hurt your belief and feelings in my writing. That was never my intention. May 'The Creator' forgive me for all my bad deeds (intentionally and unintentionally). If you have already read the link above, you will find that I have been studying all the religions. I have spent nights after nights studying the books, while you will find 99% Christians didnt read their own book. Am I wrong?? NO. Same with the Muslims... you will find majority of the muslims didnt read their book. I dont know about you though.... You be the judge of yourself.

I just want to pose you a question. Quraan, Bible, Torah, Vedas -- whatever book you believe as the word from 'The Creator', shouldnt it be a must for us to know atleast whats in there? Did you ever think what will happen if 'The Creator' asks you - "I have given you a life span of 50 years why didnt you find time to read MY book?". Will you have any answer in front of HIM?

--- I dont know. It doesnt suit me that I talk against a land which has the largest number of people becoming Muslims every year among all the countries of the world.

"Here's a better question - during Ramadan how do muslims in Alaska keep fasting during the day when part of their summer it's day light for weeks in a row with out the sun ever going down ? Wouldn't this be accounted for in the Quraan ? You know to keep muslims from starving to death ?"

--- Again, I dont know. If you want I can try to find the solution in the Quraan for you. Also, you might ask these questions to the people who are scholars in Islam. I know there are around 70 or more Fiqh (rulings) relating to fasting. In fact, I never have read them. But if you feel interested, do let me know. I will try to send the file to you so that you can find answer to your question. By the way, did you ever personally observe any Muslim died while fasting?
