Say the Truth and Dont Misinformed.

Dan,

I refer to the statement below from the article above and want to state that it is clearly not true that Koran claims that Moses and Jesus introduced mistakes into the Word of God. See quote below:

Historical: Chronologically, Islam followed after Judaism and Christianity, but the Koran claims Islam actually preceded the other monotheisms. In Islamic doctrine (Sura 3:67), Abraham was the first Muslim. Moses and Jesus introduced mistakes into the Word of God; Muhammad brought it down perfectly. Islam views Judaism and Christianity as flawed versions of itself, correct on essentials but wrong in important details. This outlook implies that all three faiths share the God of Abraham.

Far from that, Islam teaches that all messengers of God including Moses & Jesus peace be upon them(pbut) should not be discriminated against but revered and respected so much so that it blasphemous for a Muslim to say anything derogatory against God messengers. Why don't we let the Koran speak for it self?

The Messenger (Muhammad-pbuh) believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His messengers." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys." Chapter 2 verse 285 Further more the position of Koran regarding the Ministry of Jesus or Moses or Muhammad or any of the messengers for that matter is that, they all came from One same God (called Allah in Arabic) with one same message that NONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE WORSHIPED BUT GOD.

All the messengers came at different times and to different tribes or nations. Though the fundamental message remains the same, the laws brought by the messengers governing humans' day to day lives differ for obvious reasons of different times and locations. For example Moses was sent to Pharaoh to admonish him to stop his tyranny against the Jews of that time. God gave him a miracle (Staff/Snake) that is similar to magic which was the in thing in those days. Jesus was sent to house of Israel for that period of time. God gave the miracle of medicine which was the in thing in those days (raising the death, healing the blind to see, making the lame to walk etc.) The world then was not a global village as we know it today where information will be copied and transferred or transported easily, parts of the teachings of the earlier messengers got lost or corrupted by the years. Then Muhammad (p.b.u.h) came at a time when the world was at the threshold of becoming a global village and the age of information. So Muhammad was chosen to be the last messenger for the global village (entire humanity) and for the rest of time (remember someone had to be the last messenger and for the whole). For the fact that every messenger was given a miracle which will serve as an evidence for the messenger, Muhammad (pbuh) was given the Koran (a Book/Information age) as his miracle which is to outlive him since his mission is for the rest of time and for the entire world.

That's why God promised to preserve the Koran in its original form till the last day. So in essence Muhammad is just a completion of the same ministry. That's why he (Muhammad) beautifully described himself in relation to the earlier messengers as the last brick completing the wall. Meaning every brick (messenger) is equally important and complimentary to the wall. So in Islam both Moses & Jesus executed their assignments exactly they way God willed them to do and they did their best. The reason why Islam is considered to have come earlier than Muhammad's time is because Koran teaches that Islam is submission to Almighty God, the Creator of the universe. So Adam, Abraham, Noah, Solomon, Moses, Jesus….etc and Muhammad submitted to God and by implication are all under the banner of Islam (Muslims). Islam started even before human being was created when the earlier creatures (e.g. sun, moon, animals etc. submitted to God's will. Lastly, I urge and challenge you to pick the Koran, check the index for the names Jesus & Moses and read all the topics referring to them, then you will realized how truly false is the statement in question is.

If for example 100 people will take the challenge of reading the Koran themselves and not what they hear from the media or from the non-Muslims, I assure you not all of them will finish reading without realizing how they were misinformed. Let me leave you with a verse from the Koran which challenged the world since 1400 years back and today. "And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true. But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, - which is prepared for those who reject Faith" chapter 2 verses 23-24 It's been nice talking to you guys and thank for your time.
