not really!!!Reader comment on item: Red Mosque in Rebellion Submitted by ahmadzafie (United States), Aug 13, 2007 at 20:59 I understand your concern, really i do. As an American and convert to islam i guess i see things different then most people do. I am a very open minded person that respects all faith, race and creed. To me again this is what i get and all of the muslims that i know get from islam. Islam is the final religion base of many facts of the two great faiths before islam.... judaisim and christianity. Muslim believe in everything the jews do and many the jews don't. Muslims also believe in what chrisitians do and many they dont. Jews dont believe in nothing that christians do and nothing of muslims. Christians believe jews are the once chosen now mere ... or least then because of christ(pbuh) murder and again nothing from islam. Muslims believe that each are right or were right thousand of years ago. but through time man has corrupted the scripture to his own accord. The koran says this....to believe in the people of the book...meaning jews and christians alike but beware of the scripture before because it has been corrupted or changed. And even christians and jews will admit this today. Yes the koran is the only scripture that has not been changed since written in book form. But dont think i am saying islam is not with fault!!! My thing is this great religion we call islam has faults also. Many muslims may not like what i have to say. This again is not anything against islam itself but the people who claim islam. The koran mean (recite) many years after the koran was reveiled to the prophet(pbuH) many people and fellow muslim knew the koran word for word and memorized it. Now after many different people, country, tribe and lanuages. It is a great possiblity if not exact that muslims interrupt the koran with their own perception. The koran was then written in book form from scholars or elders with great knowledge of the koran. But they also were human...maning their perception could have been wrong also. The same with the hadiths. The thing about the koran muslims believes it speaks about all times past, present and future. And according to your living situations or environment many muslims fill that the situation that they are in is which the koran is speaking about. People have asked me question of that nature before...about muslim not liking christians, but what i get is that the koran was speaking about the past events between muslims and christians. See when people who have a negative outlook of something its hard to be positive, so if someone has a negaitive outlook on islam when they read the koran they will see nothing but negative. The koran tells me to be kind to all G-d creations and to respct one another. To believe in one G-d and to follow the laws sent before man. We can marry outside our faiths etc. Many people have to know that islam is a religion that many people follow also these people also have there own culture too. Which sometimes clash and people think its islam. Looking women being lower then man..The koran speaks of the women highly and shows that she is more powerful then man. To her are we to give upmost respect but in some muslim countries show the opposite. This to me is unIslamic bcause its says nothing about what they do in the koran. I think islam a great faith in the name of G-d and although the koran hasnt change as Allah said and chanllege man to make and book like it. non have yet.....but muslims are destroying the true pratice by the actions they do. And then when challege everybody is bad but muslims!!!!.....WRONG. We as muslims most know they all muslims are'nt good, many are but many are not. Same goes for jews and christians. We may go to the Temple, Church or Masjid every holy day but that dont make us true to G-ds words. Only G-d knows who is the truthful jews, christians and muslims. And all will live in paradice with the LORD OF ALL LORDS. UHHHUHHH!!!!! but from my interruption true muslims dont hate.
