Mayeed: It makes us laugh too when you say Islam and sharia are the solution. Part IIReader comment on item: Why Shariah Must Be Opposed Submitted by Plato (India), Aug 12, 2009 at 21:36 Mayeed, you wrote, >>In the words of G.B Shaw in his book the pgenuine Islam Vol. I, No. 8(1936). "I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him - the wonderful man and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him (muhammad)were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today." (G B Shaw). Shariah is Quran and the sayings of Muhammad(pbuh). So in other words G B shaw saying if Shariah is implemented... << G.B Shaw was a playwright and not a historian. Read the opinions of a historian who has studied history like Will Durant. He has been quoted often enough here to demonstrate the devastation Islam brought to the Hindus. Read him. Or read the history of India as told by Muslim historians (The History of India as told by its own Historians, Sir H.M Elliot, Low Price Publications, D. K. Publishers and Distributors, 24 Ansari Road, Darya Ganj, Delhi 110002). Durant has described in gory detail what happens when sharia is implemented. G B Shaw, as a playwright probably had no clue to what sharia is. >>Have a look at the life of my western non muslim sisters. They have been made to believe living a life of animals.<< Take a look at your Muslim sisters. They live either caged at home or are let out guarded by male keepers shrouded in black devoid of any individuality – just a vulva (see Part I of this reply for this) bought by a man for money and hence his property. Your prophet confirmed this concept of women being property in his last sermon where he calls them prisoners or animals in the care of men (Tabari vol VIII, page 113 and Ibn Ishaq in his The Life of Muhammad, page 151, in the Oxford University edition from Pakistan) >>They are deprived from the pleasures of marriage and family. Many of them have to live their life as sex symbols into the hands of powerful and are treated in a way which they enjoy at first but when later realise they get filled with repentence.<< Living in Australia you are blissfully unaware of what goes on in the Muslim world. Have you heard of muta marriages in Iran. Or misyar marriages in Saudi Arabia. These are just fancy names for prostitution in Islam. Read this article in Danielpipes from which I have picked up some comments (read the whole article): http://www.danielpipes.org/3022/arabian-sex-tourism#misyar (1) Ironically, the girls thus proffered appear all to be Muslim – no Hindus or others need apply. (2) The behavior of Arabs in India in some way parallels that of Japanese and Westerners in Thailand, with the notable difference that the Indian case involves marriage, an emphasis on virginity, and local authorities seemingly pleased with providing their minor girls for sex tourism. (3) Arabian sex tourism is not exclusive to India but also takes place in other poor countries. (4) This trade in persons is merely one dimension of a problem that prevails through Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states (for another dimension, see "Saudis Import Slaves to America"). (5) Concubinage, forced labor, indentured servitude, slavery – these deep problems are nowhere near being addressed in the Gulf region, much less solved. Indeed, one prominent Saudi theologian has gone so far as to state that "Slavery is a part of Islam" and whoever says it should be abolished "is an infidel." So long as such attitudes can be articulated publicly, without censure, abuses are certain to continue. (6) The hypocrisy of this trade is perhaps its vilest aspect. Better prostitution, frankly acknowledged, than religiously-sanctioned fake marriages, for the former is understood to be a vice while the latter parades as a virtue. >>I saw a women who was of approx 50 yrs but still not married.she is still a Partner of some one who she is living with for 25 yrs but that person still not eager to take her into marrige... Western girls want safety and security. They easily give everything to the person who they think loves them. But in the end they merely have to be settled with the title "partner".That is what has become their fate<< What about women under Sharia? Now read this and let us have your comments: From: http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2003/06/misyar-temporary-marriage-in-sunni-islam : "Apr. 26, 2006 update: The Islamic Jurisprudence Assembly, a Meccan organization, on April 12 issued a fatwa approving misyar marriages, giving the custom a Wahhabi imprimatur. It deems valid "a marriage contract in which the woman relinquishes [her right to] housing and support money ... and accepts that the man visits her in her house whenever he likes, day or night."" From: http://www.memri.org/bin/opener.cgi?ID=IA29106 A veteran Saudi matchmaker told the London daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that since the publication of the fatwa permitting misyar marriages, she had received at least 15-20 requests per day from men of various ages for such marriages, from men under 20 who did not object to women over 40, up to men in their 70s. She said that the young men who marry women aged 40 and 50 remain with them until they finish their studies. The marriages are kept secret from the man's parents, and when he completes his university studies, he is married to another woman chosen for him by his family. She said that half of the requests for misyar marriages are from young men in their 20s. [7] Since the fatwa was issued, the number of misyar marriages has increased in Jeddah, particularly among women aged 30 to 40. According to Sheikh Abd Al-Karim Al-Ghamidi, who oversees and coordinates all marriages in Jeddah, most of the women seeking these marriages are businesswomen, teachers, doctors, nurses, and widows. [8] Saudi author Dr. Ibtisam Halwani, who researched the phenomenon and published a number of articles on the subject, found out the following about misyar marriages: Most of the women in these marriages are non-Saudis, and are from a certain few large cities; in some misyar marriages, the woman relinquishes only some of her rights; many marriage contracts are made not in the presence of the woman's guardian, but in the presence of a public official; some women in misyar marriages demand a divorce after a while so as to remarry and obtain a new dowry; many men set conditions for the woman, such as "if the knowledge of the marriage gets out, you are divorced," or "if you get pregnant, you are divorced"; many of the men divorce when it is even suspected that news of the marriage has reached the families; many students from out of town seek misyar marriage; and most misyar marriages end in divorce. [9] Isn't sharia just dandy for Muslims? A cesspool by any other name does not make it stink any less. Prostitution by any other name still is prostitution. >>May Allah extricate them from this and give them strengh to get their right to marriage<< All I can add is may Allah deliver Muslim women from the clutches of Sharia. I showed in Part I of this reply how the great jurisprudents of Sharia, Shafi and Maliki considered marriage just a contract by which the man buys the woman's vulva for a price, mehar…. "The commercial aspects of the marriage contract are unremarkable for the jurists. For example, in discussing a situation where a slave was specified as the wife's dower, Al Shafi states that 'she sold him her vulva for the slave' [ba'athu bud'aha bi'abd." Are your present day jurists any better. In Australia you had a notorious Islamic cleric declare that scantily clad women were exposed meat and a good meal for any passing Muslim. >>(Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world including europe and america and most of the reverts are women than men)<< Muslims reproduce faster as Muslim males deny their wives the right to family planning. >>......,Shariah is the solution ,implement it and see the results.<< The results of sharia you saw in the evil wrought by the religious police in home of Islam. >>My dear non muslims brother and sister read Quran and then comment. It is a book with 114 chapters .some of them are chapter Mary(mother of jesus(pbuh)) chapter Abrahim(pbuh),chapter Joseph(pbuh),chapter jonah(pbuh),chapter hud (pbuh).I have mentioned the name of some chapter so that the readers of bible get an idea because these people are respected ,loved by all abrahimic religions.<< Great piece of dawa directed at Christians by someone whose scripture blasphemes Jesus Christ! >>The discussion with an ignorant instigates arrogance and chaos but the discussion with knowledgeable using reason, proof and truth is a fragrance a which increases more the discussion goes on,<< Since this discussion has not aroused arrogance and chaos in my mind I hope I am right in concluding that I am not ignorant. I have given you reason and proof for whatever I have stated, the truth of which may or may not be acceptable to you. But using reason, proof and truth let us try and spread some fragrance among the Muslim readers of this blog. >>And we have sent thee(Muhammad )as a mercy to the worlds (Quran).<< In the Koran there are more than 400 verses that tell us of the merciless punishment and torment Allah has waiting for non-Muslims in the next world. In this world there is no mercy in the sharia for women, petty thieves, apostates and polytheists.
