Ottomans and the Seljuks were not racists surely this is commendable,ethnicity did not bar you nor privilege you.We acknowledge that some of our Sultans had foreign blood,we respect them for their services to the nation regardless of ethnicity.Why you are using this as a stick to beat us I do not know?

The Windsors of the UK have German blood.In the case of Anatolia ,Byzantines were defeated in Manzikert in E Anatolia in 1071. Within 4 years the mighty Byzantines were cleared off,and the Seljuk Turks took Nicea (Iznik) in 1075 and made it their capital.Nicea is 1000 miles due W of Manzikert. By the time of 1st crusades in 1096 the country was already being called Turchia by the Venetian traders.The Turkification of Anatolia took less than 10 years not centuries as you claim. Even the massive crusader armies could not undo this, they merely took Nicea back.
