Islam OR democracy NOT BOTHReader comment on item: Islamism's Trajectory Submitted by rodney allsworth (Australia), May 25, 2014 at 05:24 the idea that democracy is changing is very true, that we are progressing towards a larger govt and intrusive govt is in fact the result of the UN socialist charter being woven into the laws of national govts around the world, islam when looked at from a difference is exactly that, islam is intrusive and excessively centralized, they have a -democratic election, and there is only one candidate, huh. and they call that -democracy, the govt of Sadams Iraq was as socialist as could be, Sadam ruled by the gun, the sunnis were the bureaucracy, and the Shite were the recipients of what was leftover, how can Islam run a democracy when the Muslim people demand a - singular- ruler, a bureaucracy that governs all things - religious, political, and culture, that is the core of socialism, just look at how North Korea runs, just look at how Russia runs, etc, democracy will never come to Islamic nations until the very young of today get a full taste of what the -free western world- experiences as in FREEDOM, SELF DETERMINATION, RIGHT TO STAND TO BE ELECTED, NO RELIGIOUS DEMANDS, ETC. true democracy and Islam in the same sentence, NEVER. rod qld aust
