Islamism's TrajectoryReader comment on item: Islamism's Trajectory Submitted by Judith (United States), May 26, 2014 at 22:45 Interesting observation. Somehow I agree with both of you. My belief after decades of watching world changes here and in the Middle East is that it will take a few generations to weed out the "bad guys" who want to control the masses of the world, including converting the so-called non-believers, into their radical ideologies. That said, Andrew McCarthy has his pulse on the current generation of Islamic leaders who seem bold enough to try to use our current administration's lack of respect for the Constitution and individual liberty to perhaps slip in a Trojan Horse? Islamism is still the enemy of any free society though individuals can be truly decent people who will not harm us even with Islam as their religion. So many are hopeful their good guys will win. Some of them are friends, and good ones. The tares will be separated from the wheat, but we must remain diligent as to who is who for everyone's sake. If there is a more complicated religion than Islam, even for Muslims, I don't know what it is. Would that I could clone Dr. Zudi Jasser and put his spirit into all the Islamic radicals. The world needs more doctors, not terrorists. Maybe a few more generations need to pass! But today we remain diligent, hopeful for the world we leave behind, but diligent!
