What brought this change of mind?
Reader comment on item: Islamism's Trajectory

Was it seeing peaceful actions of some Islamists over time that led to the conclusions that not all Islamists are potential killers? Or did you hear some Islamists prevail over their brothers to forgo violence? Could it have been something else entirely?

I see an evolution; there are now many more Islamists who limit themselves to the political process - not necessarily because they have become nicer people but because they see this works better.
