consequences for the coming caliphateReader comment on item: How Islamic Are Muslims? Submitted by myth (Germany), Jul 28, 2014 at 09:37 It seems to me only a majority non-muslim country provides the resources for a muslim minority to live accoring to islamic standards. Certainly the islamists enjoy more options of influence in a Western country that offers them freedom of expression. That has consequences for the coming caliphate. Such a political system would have a muslim minority rule over a large non-muslim majority in some sort of apartheid state. If the caliphate spread islam among too many people, it would degenerate. The islamic standards would be effective so long as they are applied only to an elite minority. In short: as little muslims as possible in the caliphate. Perhaps this scenario represents a wider pattern of ideologies old an new. They are a luxury to those few who can afford to live by them at the cost of a majority who will suffer the consequences and pay.
