inadvertently pointing out the dangerousness of IslamReader comment on item: How Islamic Are Muslims? Submitted by Ron Thompson (United States), Jul 29, 2014 at 22:17 Canderra's first sentence makes a solid point, but ti doesn't apply to islam in any majority Muslim country, because the adherents are not free to not practice the religion, at least in outward form. The calls to prayer blare out numerous times a day every day, women are not free to not enshroud themselves, and any dissent from the religion or conversion to another may lead to death. So this whole study in "Islamicity" seems to make no sense applied to countries where Muslims are in a minority. Contrary to what happens in modern more or less Christian countries and Israel, the true ferocity of Islam occurs with the greatest intensity in the most majority Muslim countries. Again because Muslims have no genuine freedom of religion in Muslim majorirty countries, a condition not seen in Western countries in 300 or 400 years, how can there be any genuine knowledge of the "Islamicity"of islam in those countries?
