The study is just goofy.Reader comment on item: How Islamic Are Muslims? Submitted by Michael S. (United States), Jul 31, 2014 at 00:14 Josef is right here; and the learned Dr. Pipes is wrong -- in my opinion, of course, which presupposes that I am right. Jihad, and treatment of women? Why is this the "inevitable" destination of Islam? Because Muslims will inevitably fall into apostasy and hedonism the way the Jews and Christians have? "Women's Lib" is not in the Bible -- In fact, it enslaves women. It forces women to work outside the home AND try to raise families. A Jewish form of "JIhad", on the other hand, is very much in the Bible: It's called "Zionism". Jews are instructed to forcefully fight for and occupy the land God told them to inhabit. Therefore, I see nothing wrong with Muslims striving to forcefully fight for and occupy the land they believe God told THEM to inhabit -- and Ze'ev Jabotinsky would heartily agree with me. The study is obviously goofy. Since when are homosexual marriage and widespread adultery values taught by Qur'an? Yet these are the values held on high by the OECD countries that are supposedly so "Islamic".
