Should the world vote in the US elections?

and such like. Sorry, if I gave you the wrong impression.

Concerning people in other countries having "straw votes" in US elections, I'm not keen on the idea. The US gets a lot of press coverage around the world, usually by networks that do not have our interests at heart; so people outside the country think they understand us; but I don't think they do. For instance,

1. I can't remember the last time I ate at a McDonald's restaurant.
2. We seldom eat hot dogs.
3. I don't follow sports of any kind.
4. I have no idea who the latest celebrities are, much less what they do. It seems they spend most of their time in rehab, or getting arrested. Other than that, I don't know.
5. My best friend's best friend is his horse.
6. Our favorite neighbors are the deer, the wild turkeys, the hummingbirds, the flickers, the crows and the jays. We don't care much for the yellowjackets and flies, but there aren't too many of them.
7. Humans we keep in touch with are people in our church and two home fellowships we go to once a month, my barber, our families overseas and "Back East" (the US, east of the Cascades), and now and then our neighbors.
8. Our TV controller broke a month ago, and I haven't bothered replacing it.
9. My idea of "American food" does not include french fries or soda pop: It's mashed or baked potatoes, lots of vegetables and something delicious like liver and onions. That's what I grew up with; but usually I get some fancy recipe from my wife's reperetorie. Pizza comes in handy, about once a month or so. If we eat out, my favorite is the fresh fish market, which boils up a good cod, halibut or red snapper.
10. We aren't "swingers". We've been married 41 years, and are pretty satisfied with the arrangement.

I could go on and on. We're what Hillary Clinton calls "a basket of deplorables". Most people around the world seem to think that she's "America" and we're not, which is probably high on my list of reasons I'm glad only Americans can vote here.

Do you know what would happen, if we let the Brits, Canadians, Aussies and Kiwis vote in out elections? Hillary wouldn't just win the election; she's be crowned a bloody monarch! Thanks, but no thanks. Even Nigel Farage is left-of-center over here. I'm glad you like "The Donald". I wish Daniel Pipes did; but it's a free country, and I respect his opinion in most things, so he may vote for whomever he wills or not.

Now, then, what's your opinion of astrology? I dabbled in it in my younger days, and think it has its worthy points.
