Radical Islam will likely go down with a bang

Trust me, The "bell curve" of the mainstream media and networks is not America. If I had trusted the same concerning Australia, I would have been totally unprepared for living in Sydney and Cowra, the only two places Down Under that I have actually see firsthand. Fortunately, I knew practically nothing of the place before going there, so I wasn't awfully disillusioned.

I'm glad you were not serious about the "straw poll" idea. Of all the people in the world, the Canadians, Aussies, Kiwis and Brits probably have the most in common with the US; but all those places are far to the left of us politically.

Concerning Astrology, I surfed on a whim, to see what was being said about the upcoming elections. The site I found said this would be a close election. The polls have been saying much the same; but the oddsmakers and the mainstream media are only starting to think this might happen. The latter have been so out of touch with reality for the past year, it's pathetic.

I see you've commented about astrology on the other post, so I'll follow that thread there. Concerning the situation in the Middle East, which this blog is about, here is how I see it fitting in:

1. Events in the Middle East and the world have been following a track in Bible prophecy, to the extent that I understand it. The main events coming up are (a) an attack on Israel by Islamist states, led by Turkey, and (b) a succeeding attack on Israel by the nations of the world (the UN). The first is prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39, the latter in Zechariah 14. The first depends on Turkey allying itself with Iran, something that could happen soon. The second should come only a few years later -- perhaps 11-12 years from now.

2. Because of the timing above, I am curious about what astrological events are significant withing the next 12 years. The main event, to my understanding, happens on 20 Jan. 2021, which will be inauguration day after the presidential election following the one this fall. It is an evtremely close alignment of the outer planets with the earth and sun, the sort of thing that last happened with the fall of the Berlin Wall. Other than this, the only significant events I can see are three solar eclipses: two that will be visible of North America, and then one over Europe and the Middle East. The first of these will happen in August, next year; the next in April, 2024), and the last will be in August, 2027. That means that if a new President is elected in 2020 (which is highly likely), his 8-year double term will include two periods of somewhat over 3 years, punctuated by significant total solar eclipses. This is Biblically curious, because prophesied events concerning the "beast", called "Antichrist" by many, are of 3½ year durations.

God has not "approved this message", the way candidates approve their misleading campaign advertizements. At the moment, it's a curiosity to me.

How does this come to bear on the fate of "Radical Islam"? I see Turkey as the de facto leader of Radical Islam in the near future, so the Ezekiel prophecies are pertinent. I expect Radical Islam to take a severe beating, when Turkey, Iran, Sudan and Libya try to gang up on Israel but get badly defeated.
