My bad typo here. Somehow characters from another sentence were transposed It was meant to be simply: " I assume the conductor is the human psyche - but what is the 'force' ? "

Interesting that you mentioned Dawkins, his wife of 24 years left him recently. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3694202/Britain-s-highest-profile-atheist-Richard-Dawkins-announces-end-24-year-marriage-Dr-actress-Lalla-Ward.html Dawkins is an intellectually conceited little man, the Pied Piper of militant atheists. The way his eyes and face thinly disguise animosity towards all that he doesn't agree with is almost funny to watch.

As far as forgiveness goes, it's not THAT hard to understand. Even an evolutionary biologist with an open mind should be able to pick up on it.this is now seen as being part and parcel of having a healthy psyche. You're doing it ultimately as much for yourself as the forgiven. Imagine if the world was an illusion or that the person/thing that caused you harm was no longer in existence - and you were still harbouring hatred towards them - who is the fool? Who suffers from your hatred?
