Picking Up the Pieces in a Darkened World as Israel Picks up the Torch

As the contemplation of why anyone would target Israel for extermination (under any context), we need to go back to why Israel's kingdom of David/Solomon et al, was extricated from the land in the first place, especially in view of the promises made to the Hebrews/Jewish people, from Abraham and his heirs, as written in the Torah (law) by Moses, down through the prophets and friends of Jesus in His humanity. The Jewish were set as the people of the witness of the eternal sovereignty of the Eternal Sovereign. We have covered the premise many times: we will skip to the chase.

The actions of the United States (not the United Nations) and Australia (at least for the moment ) are linked with the questions asked in Ezekiel: are you come to take a spoil? Who's coming to dinner?

Those nations are spelled out already: the United States may not lead the charge, but in light of an America that has been led astray in the last eight years, (actually the defection started earlier, but largely unnoticed), will they restrain from intervening if the right argument of castigating the Jewish people's hold on their own land comes to question, Israel will be looking to their Savior in a way they would never have dreamed had the Scriptures been listened to.

So; America leading the charge(?)...thinking out loud here; not leading, but not standing in the way either. Either way, the Church will be watching from another venue as Zephaniah chapter three leads the reader to Zechariah chapters 12 though 14.
