Yes, the average lifespan for Russian men is about ten years less than it should be; and vodka is the prime culprit. Besides early death and chronic health problems, productivity suffers greatly there. Lately, I guess horrible drugs such as krokodil and heroin have supplemented this national suicide.

Concerning the ultimate demise of Jihadism, you said,

-- I don't think Islam has enough time left, to endure a thousand cuts. The days are fast coming to a close, in my estimation: for the West and East, as well as for Islam.

I am happy for the election results here, which my wife and I see as a miracle and an answer to prayer. Under a Republican President of Trump's good character, and under Republican control of both houses of Congress, it looks as though the Judiciary also (the Supreme Court) will also come under conservative and Constitutionalist control. That will help to stall our country's slide into self-destruction, giving us a few more years to lead Godly lives and continue to proclaim God's word. Then the darkness will descend, as the prophets have warned us; and then, the kingdom of righteousness on earth.
