erdogan and gulen are like brown and yellow ...

hi dr pipes;

i am a liberal and atheist turk living in istanbul; never voted for erdogan;

erdogan and gulen are both [goons] only with a different flavor. the difference between erdogan and gulen is no more than the difference between brown and yellow .... (please do not delete these lines as they are really necessary for explanation of the situation not just a simple insult)

they are like two thieves fighting each other about how to share the money after a bank robbery.

thank goodness that they fought each other and we got rid of at least one of them. now erdogan is weaker without the gulenists 20 years long support.

please do not ever ever try to present gulenists as good guys because of your hate against erdogan. as these are basically one other side of the same coin. it is like you hate daesh so much that you support taleban and al kaida. actually i believe gulenists are more dangerous because these are the more educated and richer and ideologically sophisticated ones who can easily order "masses to be killed" for coming to power. so it was a gift from heavens that these two fought each other and both lost some power.

gulenist are as maniacal as erdoganists if not more. they killed hundreds of civilians with machine guns
in the streets. the coup attempt was real and very bloody. these are guys who worship a senile snake named gulen. we have the hope of getting rid of erdogan in the next elections but if these gulenists were ever to come to power than it was really a nightmare. these are guys who eat gulen's used paper handkerchiefs.

so please be careful about how you present whom. and please support free minded liberal and democratic modern masses in turkey if you want to support someone here.

as for the fight between erdogan and gulen; i am sitting in my chair, drinking my beer and smoking my cigar, watching with delight, that these two are fighting.
