Where is the Peace of the Place Called Home?Reader comment on item: The Rise of Western Civilizationism Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Apr 16, 2018 at 14:04 From this reader's perspective, there is irony in the title 'The Rise of Western Civilizationism;' for does it not speak to a post civilized approach to obtaining that which humanity has demonstrated over and over again that which it will never obtain in the current and ever abiding human condition: peace and liberty? Today's resurgence of escaping populations is merely a reprint of the dark ages of mass migrations or decimations of non-conforming populations, none content in abject desperation of hope; to be compelled to seek reprieve elsewhere just to be able to breathe and not desiccate away into fear. But ask: why do the targeted countries immediately hold a hand out in rejection of immigration to their own comfort zones (just as Arab nations did to the hordes of Arabs leaving the British Mandate-what did the British promise them-the Europeans, do they not do the same now?): do they not express the same fears of the terrors of rejection and deprivation in their own lands? It is definitively demonstrated that the ills of the Western Empires of European histories are now evidenced in the failures to reach out and provide that which should have been the main reach of civilization, the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His abiding love. Instead, the main 'church' ambition was deceptively morphed by false prophetic ambition to make Christianity the tool of a early false intent to subjugate unsuspecting pagans and heathen into a patently false representation of empire-building under false colors. This was rejected by many in the target region of the Middle East of the day and the counter revolution to that was/is Islam. Peace was proclaimed; only if one succumbed to the new set of deceptions that would lead to the ummah, the Islamic version of a one world order. What is different from then until now? Look around: save for the technology to be globalistic in the evil intentions; not much! The 'refugees' no longer have a place called home. Home is a term that has lost much if not most of the idyllic sentiment that the term once brought to mind. Trying to find such a place is now more Quixotic than ever and those who come closest are in fear that the mass migrations of the refugees are there to take it all away. The Adversary of all men's souls in very intent on that; and has found many who would be in collusion to that very end: the destruction of civilized humanity. That moment appears nearer than most recognize. For many, heaven now supplants the idea that any place home can be found in the current circumstances that the world finds itself in. The alignments of the globalists found in Europe and elsewhere are pushing to eliminate territories and nationalistic tendencies and the battle lines forming for that concept are in the rage zone now. The Adversary is pushing that envelope to the hilt and humanity cannot contend against that any much further. Hope for Heaven to intercede now appears to be that last Hope. Like the jailor of Paul said: "what must I do to be saved?" The answer then is the same as now-"believe in the LORD Jesus Christ, ask Him in prayer to come into you heart and be saved. Then the peace of home is not what happens here on earth-for earth is being prepared for tragedy(look at Syria and know it is coming); the peace of home is knowing Jesus is calling all who will hear Him, heaven will be you home if you want it to be. Salvation is the solution to immigration; for whosoever will may come home to heaven in Jesus' Name.
