Great again - except for the 2 slurs against Putin, in my opinion: Respect for RussiaReader comment on item: The Rise of Western Civilizationism Submitted by Robert (United States), Apr 27, 2018 at 17:42 Dear D. Pipes, You written another excellent analysis - it actually reminds of Karl Marx, who died in 1883, and isn't responsible for Lenin's and Stalin's Soviet Union. And a Prussian, very much unlike the British French or the French. And Engels too failed to modify Internationalism, for which Woodrow Wilson deserves much credit. I interject these items because of your analysis of CIVILIZATIONISM. Oligarchic Mother Russia now has its Greatest Son, in my estimation, Orthodox Christian Oligarch Vladimir Putin. And his Frenemy is now PUTUSA, The Donald, Gotham City's Media Mogul, and Political Genius.Their evolving Bromance, under the tutelage of Henry Kissinger's RealPolitik may very well lead to kicking out Caliph Sultan Erdogan, in the spirit of 1648, and Bismark's strategies. Russia is Christian, and anti-Sunni by being pro Shia Iran, Iraq, and Hezbollah dominant Lebanon. Turkey has 3.5 million non-Turkish and non-secular immigrant Arabs and other Sunni Muslims. So when Europe closes its doors to Immigration from Turkey, Russia will become the natural ally of Europe. In Addition, Israel has over a Million Russian Jews, with no-doubt close ties to Russian Oligarchic institutions. So this with bring Russia into the sphere of European Civilization - the Russian heart of which is in Petersberg, not Moscow or "Leningrad." And besides, what will happen to Russia after Putin, and Turkey after Erdogan? So I think Trump will bond with Putin and Netanyahu against Islamist Ayatollah Iran. There are other players involved, like China, India, Pakistan, and now United Korea, which may rat-out Islamist Iran. So in conclusion, be softer on Putin - now that we live in the age of "crude" or rough anti-Islamist TRUMPISM; and please remember that BOLTON is now in charge of the National Security Council of the Make America Great Again USA, USA, USA ! By the way, what's Linda Sarsour up to lately? (rhetorical question). Do you think we can re-define ISLAMOPHOBIA as justified fear of Islamism, a Political Ideology, and not a religion? As I've noted previously, a New York Judge has ruled that one can discriminate on the basis of politics, since Religion is protected, but not politics. ISLAMIST AREN'T WELCOME IN THE USA, it turns out, isn't protected by the USA or NYS constitutions. A Google search of Bars religion and politics will get you that news, wherein a Philadelphia visiting the World Trade Center Memorial was refused service while wearing a MAGA hat - the NY court in Manhattan denied him relief. Unfortunately, one cannot eject an Islamist Teetotaler from a bar since there is no such creature, it being an anti-oxymoron since Islamists don't drink Alcohol and would enter a Bar except on a suicide mission.
