Your article certainly sets things straight. You make a very good point about Hungarians being occupied by the Ottoman Turks for 150 years, this being a significant factor in Hungarian attitudes to Muslim immigration. The Battle of Mohacs in 1526, and the Ottoman occupation which followed, is regarded as a very traumatic event in Hungary to this day. Western Europeans have not experienced anything like this (with the exception of Spain and Portugal).
