Arthur, thanks for the reply and the pleasant post.

As far as both democrats go, I'm not buying the idea that Hilary is all of a sudden a gun-toting rural woman with a Margaret Thatcher outlook, that Michelle Obama identifies herself with inner-city Chicago as opposed to her Ivy League affiliations, and that Barack is the stereotypical big, strong African man who's gonna roll up his sleeves and fight.

I see each of these, along former President Clinton, as very weak on defense. Their idea of going after the enemy is nothing more than air-strikes that would kill the bad guys in one shot, and leave no civilians dead. It worked better in the former Yugoslavia, but didn't work in Afghanistan or the Sudan.

Face it, Arthur, most Americans see the democrats as not having a clue whatsoever about radical Islam and what it's goals are. Such individuals are stuck in their 1960's time chamber and think that lack of money and Isreal are the problems.

Well, I got some news for them: I'm a Catholic, and my church has been persecuted by Islamic zealots for over 14 centuries. That's nearly 1340 years before Israel was formed, and as the President said in a recent Y! interview "If you want to be popular in the Middle East, all you have to do is blame Israel for everything."

Israel is just a sideshow. So is Palestine. The Muslims have a fatter prize waiting for them north of the Mediterranean. Look at it like this: Despite the formation of the EC and EU, Europe's global influence is waning. I studied international relations for 5-6 years in college. Every indicator of power I see is decreasing in the EU: population, military equipment, will to defend oneself. The only increase is secularism, which historically, has caused internal destruction of societies.

Their military presence in Afghanistan and Iraq is determined not by locations of the enemy, but by liberal bureaucrats who sit in air-conditioned parilementary halls scared to death that someone might die, which would mean they'd lose their seat.

Israel, on the other hand, has beaten handily all of its neighbors combined--not once, but twice.

The radicals see Europe as weaker than Israel, that is why their focus is now there.

Obama and Hilary may go after the enemy, but I promise you that sending the National Guard to fight in the Hindu Kush mountains would be a huge mistake, one that the Russians made in the 1980's. And if history is any indication, it'll take a republican to clean up the mess, just as it took Nixon to clean up the mess in Vietnam, or Reagen to finish all Jimmy Carter's little brushfires in Third World countries.

I'll paraphrase Robert Spencer here, but I don't think post-modern liberals have the stomach for the type of war to fight radical Islam, and the terrorists know it. Some liberals don't even think 9-11 was done by bin-laden. That's how far gone some democrats and libertarians are, they don't even know who the enemy is.

You may not approve of sharia law, nor do I. But until we drop the lies of multiculturalism, tolerance and diversity and see the naked truth, sharia is going to grow and come to the West. My prediction is that it would be a miracle if half of them made it to 2100.

Relatively little of the Islamic world? I suggest you look into the governments of Nigeria and Egypt, whose governments are based very close to sharia law. Many nations may not have a formal designation of it, but millions of Muslims still see you and me as inferior Arthur.

Jesus did say love your enemy. But for me, it is not a problem because in the fourth century, my Church created the Just War criterion. These are based off the teachings of the Gospel.

You would be shocked, Arthur, at how many Western woman go willingly into polyamgous marriages. I've been on here for 7 months, and I've seen two women who said they were going to do this and they were defending it.

Then there is bin-laden's relative, who offered four Western woman polygamous marriage, and all of them said they would marry him.

Talk about sleeping with the enemy.
