Islam and Peace

So Mr Saalid claims that Islam is peace, and he implies that those who disagree with that are ignorant and speak of something which they do not know and that they should study further.

Well, I would suggest to Mr Saalid if he truly does believe that Islam is peace, he obviously has never read the Koran. And he ought to read a lot more European and Middle-Eastern history before he accuses other people of being ignorant. There are plenty of Spaniards who would disagree with him. I don't just only mean because of the recent slaughter on the Madrid railways, but their country was invaded by the Moors and ruled by them for centuries. There is plenty of historical evidence of how Moslems converted others and it was with the sword--and they did so from its earliest beginnings. Indeed, Arafat boasted of the fact to a US journalist while discussing a peace treaty at Rejkavic! He told the journalist that the "Palestinians" and other Arabs would do with the treaty as Muhammad did with the treaty he made at Medina--viz., he offered the people clemency if they opened the gates and let him into the city. As soon as they did, he slaughtered all the occupants. Is Mr Saalid going to tell us that that well recorded piece of history never happened, especially when Moslems themselves claim it did?

Perhaps Mr Saalid, who thinks other people are ignorant, is unaware of the fact that it is Moslem terrorists who attack without warning. It is Moslem terrorists who are suicide bombers. Can Mr Saalid give examples of any other terrorist groups who use suicide bombers? Have the IRA, UDA, Badder-Meinhoff, anarchists, Ku Klux Klan or ANY non-Moslem terrorists used suicide bombers? The answer is a resounding NO. Who other than Moslems have trained their children to be suicide bombers? Who other than Moslems send children across minefields to clear them for their troops--as was happening in the Iraq-Iran war? Ot even the Nazis with whom the Arabs sided in World War II even did that.

I do not doubt for a moment that there are many decent and kind Moslems, who do not believe in violence, as there are people of other religions who do believe in violence. We know that other religions have used violence to fight their detractors, especially the Catholic Church. However, if a Catholic, Protestant, Hindu, Jew, Buddhist or Jain, &c., uses violence they are bad people according to their religions. According to the Koran, such people who kill for Islam are good Moslems--and that's the enormous difference between Islam and any other religion. To apostasize from any form of Christianity or Judaism &c., does not get the apostate beheaded. It does in Islamic countries.

If Mr Saalid thinks I'm ignorant, then I suggest he gets on the Arabs for Israel site on the net run by former Moslems who have become Christians. Or he can read Once an Arafat Man by former PLO terrorist Tass Saada, or the books of Mark A. Gabriel who was an Imam at Cairo. If anyone knows anything about Islam it is someone who has been an Imam. Mr Gabriel (who has to write under a pseudonym for fear of his life) shows just how violent Islam is to the core. Mr Saalid can also try reading the books of Jessica Gabriel (Paul Gabriel's wife) a Lebanese lady. He should read her book Because They Hate, showing what Moslems--especially so-called Palestinians--did to her former Christian and therefore then peaceful country.
Mr Saalid, then, does not have to take my word as a Christian for it. He then can read what former Moslems and Arab ones at that have to say about it.
I read recently that the Moslem-Christian thing is a love-hate relationship: Christians love Moslems and Moslems hate Christians. If that's not so, why is it in (albeit nominally) Christian (and of course Jewish: Israel) nations Moslems are allowed the same rights as anyone else? But Christians (or for that matter any non-Moslems) do not have the same rights as Moslems in Islamic ones?

Both President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair lied to a worldwide audience--and right after the 9/11 massacre--claiming that Islam means "Peace." Islam does not mean peace: The Arabic word for peace is "Salaam." Islam means "Submission" and it means "submission to Islam."

Just because our leaders are liars or ignorant (who knows which?) it doesn't mean that the rest of us are. It seems that America's present president and Britain's present prime minster are just as deceitful as the last ones.
