tolerance

"religion is just a means to kill and dominate"

those are your words not mine. I said religion has been used to do that . I never said it has only been used to do that. Do you deny that religion has been used to murder, dominate, sacrifice,control and deceive?

Religion has been used to help, heal, pacify, bond and forgive. Should I only have said that?

To redirect, religion has been used as an excuse and reason for releasing "human nature" both good and bad; productive and destructive.

Illogic is where I lack tolerance... even when I discover it within myself. And tolerance, what is that? Is speaking ones opinion not tolerating anothers? I believe you have the right to your opinion and for that all I ask is that I have the right to mine without being labeled. If we met and talked I am sure you would find me one of the most tolerant and accepting of all the people you have met. Across all lines of culture, religion, gender preference, ethnicity, language, size, shape appearance.... I only have a problem when people act out violently over words alone, or use rhetoric to spark anger, fear and thus, violence.
