With whom Obama is associated? Make Obama white and McCain black....

Give me a break. John McCain is associated with George Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, etc. To say that Obama was associated with Ludicris because in 2004 he said that one of his 3 year old daughters liked the rhythm of his song is more than a stretch. And what about the racist minister that endorsed John McCain? And Tony Pfleger was a guest pastor in a church where Barack Obama was no longer a member nor even present. And anti-white? So he hates himself?

Remember, he never even met a black relative until he was an adult; this man grew up white and only considers himself black now because that is how America considers him. And just because Farrakhan endorsed him, doesn't mean he's associated with him. Good God, he repudiated AND rejected him. The Klu Klux Klan supports McCain; will we say that McCain is associated with the Klan? don't be ridiculous!

And if the PLO supports Barack, but so does 95% of the people in Europe, 85% of the people in Canada. Earth to republicans: Everybody in the mostly white world wants Barack Obama for president. I know, because I just got back from the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy, and people were begging me to vote for him because they couldn't. And FYI the PlO thinks that he is too pro-Israel given his no-split-Jerusalem for Israel stance. Read a newspaper, why don't you.

I wish the PLO supported him; we might actually have peace in that region for the first time in history. Let's all stop dancing around how different Barack Obama is, or how un-American he is, or with how many people of ill-repute he's associated. All of these are code words for "BLACK MAN", therefore unacceptable as a president. It's the same reason there have only been 3 elected black governors in our nation's history versus 60 white females. The same reason there have only been three black senators in history verses almost 10 just in today's senate.

Let's talk instead about an Ivy League constitutional scholar with over a decade of experience in state and national senates. Let's talk about his position on the economy, trade, intelligent energy, sensible foreign policy. Let's talk about McCain's lack of judgment on authorizing a bogus war. Let's talk about McCain's inability to run an efficient campaign machine or to remember the difference between the Sunni and the Shiite. And if we talk about who supports Barack Obama, don't just mention a few reprobates, talk about the 2 million people who donated to his campaign, 4x more than to his leading democratic contender and 10 times more than McCain.

The fact that we are even having a discussion about Barack Obama's identity and alleged "associations" speaks volume to the lack of support the author is able to mount for McCain's policies and his bad experiences. Could you imagine if Senator Obama had been a serial cheater and had left his wife for a younger heiress with whom he was having an affair? Reach into your heart everyone, and swap casting. Think of a new Democratic candidate in a time of war with a destroyed economy, Harvard educated, Illinois and US senate, charismatic, bright, who got the whole war thing right, beautiful intact family, tall, athletic, and well-spoken, raised by "traditional" Kentucky grandparents, war hero grandfather, born of a Polish exchange student, with a mother who had remarried a Serbian Muslim. Brought to a personal relationship with Christ withwhom some think is an off- color pastor that sometimes critical of black america.

And this (Democratic) candidate is white. Then imagine another candidate - that though a war hero, actually got the war vote so very wrong, supports the most unpopular president in history and is of the same race as that president, is running a negative campaign (unable to say anything positive about his own self), has cheated with many women by his own admission including a wife that waited 5 years for him during 'Nam with his 3 children, and the candidate came home to dump her for a younger heiress, claims that he knows nothing about the economy, now supports off-shore drilling despite 64 million acres of land that's sitting inactive, that doesn't vigorously support renewable (free) energy, that is short, sickly, and not charismatic. Now make this the current president and this (Republican) candidate black . Still feel the way you do? Be honest America.
