The only true source of wisdom is the definitely the HOLY QURANReader comment on item: Obama Wins, Muslims Divided Submitted by sTs (United Arab Emirates), Nov 26, 2008 at 06:44 We love Jesus more than you the Christians do 1. The Christians believe he was killed, and they are happy for the incident, in fact they celebrate his death every year in Easter, they say it is a blessing on them 2. They crucified him and they are happy he was crucified, they celebrate his crucifixion in Easter, and they celebrate his suffering on the Cross. 3. They say he had a mistress Mary Magdalene, what an obscene saying on a great Prophet 4. They say he is God, Jesus is suffering until today and he is ashamed from God, whenever any one worship him instead of God, he is so ashamed But we the Muslims respect our beloved Jesus utmost respect 1. Jesus was a miracle by God and still is. 2. Jesus is loved by all Muslims worldwide; I dare to find any Muslim who abuses him. 3. Jesus is considered one of the most great prophets of God 4. God have high regard for Jesus and his Mother. 5. His mother is one of the chosen women of the world nearest to God, Asia the wife of Pharaoh is another one , and Fatima the daughter of Prophet Mohammad is a third woman, who are nearest to God. 6. He made many extraordinary miracles by the will of God, but he is not the only one who made miracles 7. He is still alive, never died; he has no tomb on this earth. but eventually will die 8. He will come back to earth, very soon (around 16 (+/- 2) years) I am not sure if you know the story of the people of the cave, who God made them asleep for three hundred years and then they wake up or I am not sure if you know the story of the Prophet of the Jews who escaped the captivity of the Babylon and went walking to Palestine on his donkey and God took his live (he died) for 100 years and then he was brought back to life. If you believe in these stories then you should NOT believe that Jesus is God If Jesus made miracles and many of the people chose to call him God because of his extraordinary miracles, then we should also mention 1. Abraham had miracles such as the fire was cold on him when he was thrown in it, the fire did not hurt him, why you don't consider him a God - also he tore four birds into four parts and he mixed them and put each 4 parts on a different hill and he call them, all parts came to him and gathered back a complete 4 birds and they were a live a gain. 2. Moses, his stick became a moving snake, and the read sea opened so his caravans can cross - why don't you make him a God - 3. and Muhammad made many miracles - curing people, predicting, and providing plenty of water and food out of his hands - why we don't call him a God 4. Solomon, he was able to understand the animals language and wind was subjugated to him - was he God It is not that any person who makes miracle by the will of God is called God, NO Jesus in the bible never ever - and I challenge you - to find any verse in the bible where Jesus said I am God worship me - so explicitly - never He may have said I and the father are one - yes that is correct, and it means who believe in what I say then he believe in God and it means who believe in me (a prophet of God) then he believe in God) Who have seen me have seen the father - this ok too - it means who have seen me (That is heard my words personally and believed in His words as if he had heard the same words from God) Read this and contemplate John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. what do you think it means, what does "save he which is of God" Savior of the world - is not only Jesus - every prophet has come to save his people - the insertion of savior of the world to describe Jesus Christ is wrong- because by his own tongue, he said he came to the lost sheep of my people (ONLY) -Jesus entire ministry was to the Jews the house of Israel according to the following verse Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So we can see a contradiction between verse John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. and Matthew 15:24 See also this verse, very ambiguous - John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. We would have expected that Jesus will say I have seen God explicitly - no one have seen God including me the only begotten Son - the father hath declared him, Jesus did not even mention that he has seen God TOO MUCH AMBIGUITY IN THE BIBLE Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
