To whom was Jesus Christ Speaking in the Wilderness - Which Words of Jesus Christ are TruthReader comment on item: Obama Wins, Muslims Divided Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Dec 1, 2008 at 15:48 In what started out as an exchange of excerpts from the Holy Bible from reader sTs, showing how he takes certain verses to support his view of Biblical things (something strange for a Muslim to do), only to find out that in its complete context, the Holy Bible provides all the evidence it needs to contend for judgment of a sinful mankind, and salvation to those who recognize their sinfulness and seek Jesus Christ as LORD in faith and belief in who He is for their salvation. Reader sTs would deny the Holy Bible for that reason alone, though many other reasons have been given elsewhere and here to support his position. Reader sTs, as well as others in the alternative vein of thinking, would have people to believe that a collection of sayings of a single individual recorded by others and compiled by a caliph, most of which is generally contradictory to the Holy Bible, is an adequate replacement to the Holy Bible. This is a central position here, that all Muslims must shun the Holy Bible, for it cannot be believed while at the same time hold to what is written in the Quran. And yet, we find that there is a need for some to quote from the Holy Bible to show some supposed weakness. But in doing so, the Holy Bible is validated for its truth. Now, as far as man's logic will take it, there are many things to be found in the Quran that make it attractive to a population recognizing a spiritual need, but deflecting the truth of the Holy Bible, because the truth of the Holy Bible requires sacrifice of the pride and self. Religious necessity comes from recognition that there is a greater being than collective humanity, and yet when the Holy Bible revealed just who that Person is, rejection, even from those to whom it was originally presented, became necessary in human eyes to protect the pride of self. All of this demonstrates that the Holy Bible is intact in its presentation of the truth, in the presentation of Jesus Christ as LORD and author of our salvation. No amount of trying to take scripture out of context is going contradict or countermand the Word spoken by Jesus Christ (Isaiah 55), not even in the attempts made by the Islamic Prophet. He cannot change the intent of a Holy Almighty God in His original WORD as found in the Holy Bible. As this is being written, it is repeated we find ourselves looking at many things that are symptomatic to the age spoken of by Jesus Christ in Matthew, things so prophetically charged that we must understand a Biblical truth, that all true prophets have their proofs confirmed is a near term fulfillment, so as to understand the completion of the far term fulfillment. Prophecies by Jesus Christ, as well as those who spoke of Him, have been completed. Those ready to be completed, as we see in the Holy Bible, are merely waiting for Almighty God's timing. The timetable is set; the nations prophesied in the LORD's actions against the nations are named and prepared for His judgment. One might wonder what might be the trigger (Mumbai is a diversion, as are actions anywhere else outside of the Israeli sphere of influence). Confessed killer Kuntar may have unwittingly provided a clue, that the single most probable agent for sparking the battle many Muslims can hardly wait for may come from prophetically named Syria. Many are the references in Biblical prophecy, which reader sTs, and so many others, have a hard time understanding. It is repeated here, that to understand the things about to befall Israel, one must have a better than nominal understanding of the Holy Bible. In the Holy Bible is the truth about Israel, the truth that is Jesus Christ, and the truth every person needs to know to have eternal life in spite of such thing: faith and belief in Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior. Anything short of that is merely religious, and the world has a bellyful of empty religion that will bring it to judgment for not believing in the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ as LORD.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
