Islam Is Grossly Dysfunctional

Any euphoria within the ummah for Obama's election will soon turn into bitter disappointment.

Hilary as Secretary Of State (a Thatcher in the making), Gates still at the Pentagon and retired Marine general Jones as National Security adviser won't exactly meet the expectations of the deluded.

In February 2002 Pervez Musharraf said in a speech 'The Muslim Ummah, or the Islamic world, was presently living in darkness.'

"Today we are the poorest, the most illiterate, the most backward, the most unhealthy, the most un-enlightened, the most deprived, and the weakest of all the human race," he told the delegates.

Obama's election won't change that fact one iota.

Neither the secular caliphs (e.g. Gaddafi, Assad) nor the theocratic thugs (e.g. Khamenei) will relinquish power or release their citizens from the bondage of Kalashnikov and/or Koran.

When the poor deluded face that reality, their anger will be manifested in the usual rantings about the Zionist/Crusader conspiracy against Islam.

Ignorance and Idiocy crushes rational thought in this cultural and intellectual vacuum.
