Trump's Latest Appointments May Mitigate The Swamp Things

Sure, the usual suspects in the State Department and the other fetid recesses of the bureaucracy will try to impose their naïve and dangerous schemes, but thankfully, Trump has named Pompeo and Bolton to top positions. The question is whether or not they will have enough influence to counter the swamp things that will try to swim, fly and slither their way around them.

Not to be too optimistic, but I get the impression that Trump, a bit of a barbarian himself, recognizes barbarism when he sees it, which is why he hates Iran, ISIS , Abbas, Syria in general (a s***hole), and stands by the outspoken Nikki Haley. I doubt that he will go moonbat, a la Obama, on Israel, despite his craving for fame as peacemaker, but we'll see.
