Jerusalem for Jews

Its always confusing why there are attempts to placate Palestinians and Arabs. Jerusalem is the third most important city for Muslims we are told but so? Isnt it also the most important city for Jews? Why is one factor relevant and not the other? Since Muslims have proved through extreme violence against Israel that coexistence is not acceptable to them then why does Israel worry so much about trivial things like Embassies in Jerusalem? Hopefully most embassies will move to Jerusalem and this non event can be put to rest.
