Yoram Hazony: Israeli Philosopher, Bible Scholar, Political Theorist, Modern Orthodox Jew

The United States and Israel both inherited
British Constitutionalism and Political Philosophy.

But the alleged Conservatism and anti-Liberalism
beginning allegedly with Locke is uniquely Israeli.
And I believe its is expressed succinctly by Yoram Hazony
who is an Israeli Philosopher, Bible Scholar, Political Theorist, and Modern Orthodox Jew.

On September 4th his book will be published, namely:

I think that this scholar probably supports your "Civilizational" notion and positions,
but places his analysis on the "Trope" of Nationalism.

Here is a news article published yesterday
which explicates what's happening in Israel on that score,
and the above scholar is explicitly mentioned.

I just don't agree that the anti-Locke analysis is historically correct
regarding the distinction between Liberalism and Conservativism.
The correct analysis is that Locke was a British Empiricist,
as opposed to the Continental Rationalists.
Whereas the L vs. C American distinction
is of very recent vintage - probably founded after WWII,
and expounded by such public Talking Heads (on TV) as William Buckley.
