Trinitarian excuseReader comment on item: Conservatism's Hidden History Submitted by Michael S (United States), Oct 3, 2018 at 01:32 Hi, DNM Thank you for your input. My Strongs Concordance Hebrew Dictionary (keyed to the KJV) has "echad" based on a privitive root meaning "unified" -- a translation I haven't found anywhere yet in Genesis or Exodus. A Trinitarian apologetic page: http://www.bible.ca/trinity/trinity-oneness-unity-yachid-vs-echad.htm explains that "echad" COULD mean "unified"; therefore if God wanted us to believe that God is NOT a "composite unity", He would have used "yachid" instead. Isn't it marvellous, that Trinitarians alone understand the deep thoughts of the Almighty (One/ Bunch of)? I am of the opinion that those Trinitarians are full of BS. "Echad" is used in many instances, where it could not possibly indicate a composite unity. It rather upsets me, that hundreds of millions of Christians have been held in bondage to this incorrect understanding of Jesus and God, all for the benefit of the church leaders. It is not a valid doctrine; it is a test of submission to men -- even when those men are, essentially, blaspheming God. With this happening in the churches, need we wonder about the ravings of Muslims and Leftists?
