"It also means, as Haivry writes me, that 'while hundreds of prominent universities and institutes are devoted to examining the liberal tradition, none are dedicated to studying and developing the principles of Anglo-American conservatism.'" Most prominent is the Claremont Institute, home of "intellectual Trumpism," a/k/a West Coast Straussianism; and there's a major outpost at Hillsdale. Also, a strong case can be made for Liberty University, with an enrollment over 20,000. Yes, we have a mess on our hands that Wilsonian Progressives have wrought; but with the election of a true Jacksonian Nationalist in Donald Trump, we ain't dead yet!
