The word مؤامرة and is it "conspiracy" or "plot of land"? Problem solved!

Dr Pipes,

You tweeted that the word مؤامرة not only means "conspiracy" but it also means plot of land. This does not mean that you agreed.

This is news to me. Here is a link to Lisan al-'Arab and the root ؤ-م-ر and the word مؤامرة and that the word means "conspiracy" at least in classical Arabic

Notice that the word مؤامرة is defined as: "A CONSPIRACY A PLOT" and I suspect some fool who has no good command of Arabic or even English googled the word and thought that the word for "plot of land" in Arabic is مؤامرة

No I'm not kidding

However, Problem solved.

BTW: These funny mistakes in Arabic to English translations are very common these days in the translations from Arabic to English of the books of Islam and I suspect that the culprits are Pakistani and Indian Muslims and I beg Pakistani and Indian Muslims to stop the translation industry from Arabic to English and stick to Urdu.

So sane Arab will utter such nonsense

BTW: In Arabic a plot of land for sale is: ارض للبيع or Earth (read this as land) for sale!

And this is why i tell everyone never to trust the translations of the books of Islam from Arabic to English
