End Times Exegesis – Reading Signs of Reality:
Elsewhere, we read of cultural clashes and multiple dissenting ideologies that have adopted so many variations of how civilization cannot get any consensus of how to approach the future without one cultural identity seeking to destroy the other. It is all that seems to drive many in the political realm to distraction; that as has been discussed ad infinitum in so many places and forums, one wonders if there is a reality that can be discussed and attempts to reach agreements, peace deals if we may, which are antithetical to the base human nature of a conflicted mankind. The only place that seems to have any connectivity to what might be happening to humanity is in the alleged underlying religious adaptations found in describing the pride of mankind.
The mortality of humanity finds itself in a conundrum; it cannot predict the future it cannot see. When faced with the reality of not being able defeat the inevitable, then resorting to former themes of legends of the ancients becomes the replacement of a historical truth, empires that embraced themes of immortality seem to come into play. The only problem with that is they are now dead empires. The only realm that seems to be beyond that is the one that is based upon the writings of the ancient Hebrew people, whose fortunes have risen and fallen according to the promises of the Ancient of Days, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. What we see happening now is foretold, and the ends of days (of the age) is upon us now. In parallel terms, judgment is pending, and Israel is targeted for just such times as these.
Elsewhere, we have read and observed in discussion regarding of days of judgement, that in the same region, other religious influences are speaking to similar effects of how humanity should respond to the issues of the day; and other solutions are offered to remedy what are perceived as competing assertions of what is about to transpire; in Muslim terms, youm al-din. This contrasts with the Hebrew Holy Writ. What makes the distinction is easy to discern, that against all prognostications Israel is on the scene. To make things more dramatic is the increasing hostility now brimming to the edge of antipathy that will lead to the impending judgement all seem to be anticipating, but few are willing to be obedient to. It becomes a matter of who one desires to follow and the results of not getting it right.
In this day and age of intellectualism of having the right sense of reality, for the true believers of the Hebrew Holy Writ, it becomes a matter of the heart. Israel is on the fence as to how to believe the Hebrew Holy Writ, but a time of repentance is still pending. For the European Union and the anxious peoples around Israel, there is the reality that if the peace arrangement with the UAE and other potential peace partners is not fully embraced, then the region is set to experience the failure to recognize the consequences of their intellectual arguments in ways that the term youm al-din is insufficient to fully describe. No one is really prepared to understand what is the reality about to engulf the region, let alone know how to survive it. It is mistake that cannot be fully understood away from the Hebrew Holy Writ.
