Reply to Sue...From DonReader comment on item: Is Allah God? Submitted by Don (India), Sep 30, 2005 at 13:44 Dear Sue,I have read your previous post. I liked the heading you gave that it does not matter as long as we respect each other and so on and so on. good words..but then you started attacking Christinity by saying "Our God does not need family or son to save people...why Jesus is son of God etc..."..very ironic...well you have got everything twisted and i'm obliged to give you a response... 1. Our God is a triune God who can manifest himself as God the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost..even the Quran affirms this indirectly and i will be coming to that soon. 2. Yes..it is true Allah does not have a Son ..our God his name is Yahweh the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. .the God who revealed himsef to Prophet Moses in mount Sinai. Our God promised to us through our all ancient prophets that he would send a messiah who will save thier people from their sins. The messiah is Jesus Christ. Allah is the god of muslims who came into the picture with the advent of islam by Muhammed. The word Allah is never mentioned in the Torah, Zabur (Psalms) or in the Gospels. The pagan arabs used that name as one of their gods (Muhammed's father name was Abdullah..indicating that Allah was a pagan origin). Allah is not our God. Allah wants us (Christians, Jews) burned in hell. Allah is not our God. Jesus is not the son of Allah. None of the Jewish prophets worshipped a God by the name Allah. This is blasphemous. Jesus is not a muslim. Jesus never bowed to Mecca. He never did Haj or Umra! Moses when he brought the Israelites out of Egypt from the bondage of Paroah, never went to Mecca to perform prayers. If Abraham constructed that house, why didn't Moses go there and worship like Abraham his father ? There is no historical evidence that supports that Prophet Moses went to Mecca along with the Isrealites on his journey towards the promised land, Isreal. Prophet Moses was not a muslim. Jesus and all the other prophets were not muslims as what muslims say and they never worshipped Allah or made Haj or Umrah....Yes you are right Sue, Jesus is not the son of Allah. Allah dosenot have son and all human beings are slaves who should submit (slm) to him. But for us he is our creator, he cares for us and loves us as his own children not just slaves..we call him "Our Heavenly Father". Why JESUS IS KILLED Before passing this comment it would be good if you read the Holy Bible from begining till end. Jesus is the awaited messiah (even you call him messiah though you are ignorant of the meaning) who would liberate people out of their sins. Jesus came for that purpose into this world. He came to sacrifice his life, not just to cure lepers and sick people (as what muslims say)....no no... Jesus came as a sacrifice. Jesus gave his life willingly..yes if he the Father wanted to save him he would, but he came for that puropse and he predicted his own death...Jesus Again Foretells Death, Resurrection 22As they were gathering[a] in Galilee, Jesus said to them, "The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men, 23and they will kill him, and he will be raised on the third day." And they were greatly distressed. Even your Quran talks about his death and again in a mysterious way it is denied it in another verse.. no wonder Quran is full of contradiction. Is God, ALMIGHTY, the one who created the whole universe uncapable of just forgiving the people cause he's so loving and caring about his creatures? Does he have to sacrifice his son for it? Yes God is capable of forgiving thats why he did it through Jesus and the way he decided to do that was through the sacrifice and love of Jesus. All have sinned and fallen short of glory and the wage of sin is death. Somebody has to die..either you or someone..Jesus took all our infirmites dies for our sins...that is the greatest show of love of all..whether you accept that love and sacrifice, or not is upto you but the Holy Bible clearly tells us those who rejected it will not have eternal life, but die in their sins. Is it because Muslims respect the other religions and the freedom of faith, as per the verse of Quran that means' you have your religion and I have mine'. Freedom of speech and faith in islam? where do u live? I think you are a new convert to Islam. Please if you are, please read islamic history written not by apolgetic muslims, but by different peope as many as you can. Non-Muslim subjects of Muslim states are: - To show respect to every Muslim and allow them to participate in their private meetings. To keep to the side of the street and wear a distinctive dress which separates them from Muslims. - Not to propagate their customs and usages among the Muslims. They are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays. Not to build any new places of worship or repair any old places of worship which have been destroyed by the Muslims. May not build higher than or as high as the Muslims' buildings.... Treated differently in matters of testimony in law-courts, taxation, appointment to public offices, and charity. For example non-Muslims are not be allowed to testify or hold office (since they may not have "authority" over a Muslim), they must pay an additional tax, and they may not receive zakat (an obligatory form of Muslim charity). Acts which are punishable by death include anyone who: - Mentions something impermissible about Allah, its prophet, or Islam. - Tries to revert to their ancestral faith after having once embraced Islam. - Marries Muslim women without first getting converted into Islam Have you ever lived in saudi arabia? pakistan? Iran? please go there and see waht kind of right Christians have and then you come here and report to us. Comapre this to the freedom of sppech muslims get in western world..they are allowed to build as many mosques as they want...even in our Holy Place Vatican (Rome) you have mosques..Will muslims allow Church to be built in Saudi? answer me!! Without going and inrterview the peole who are suffering islamic rules, the only proof that u gave is as "per the verse of Quran that means' you have your religion and I have mine'"...well waht about this verses..... Qur'an 4:168 "Those who reject [Islamic] Faith, Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any path except the way to Hell, to dwell therein forever. And this to Allah is easy." Qur'an 5:10 "Those who reject, disbelieve and deny Our signs, proofs and verses will be companions of Hell-Fire." Qur'an 60:5 "We reject you. Hostility and hate have come between us forever, unless you believe in Allah only.'" Qur'an 48:13 "If any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared a Blazing Fire for them!" Qur'an 47:3 "Those who disbelieve follow vanities, while those who believe follow truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah coin for men their similitudes [resemblances] as a lesson. Whoever denies faith [in Islam and Muhammad], his work is of no account, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers." Qur'an 9:33 "He has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the Religion of Truth (Islam) to make it superior over all religions, even though the disbelievers detest (it)." Qur'an 20:100 "Whoever turns from it, he shall bear a burden on the Day of Doom. Grievous evil will the load on them. We shall gather the Mujrimun (disbeliever) blue or blind-eyed with thirst.... My Lord will blast them and scatter them as dust." Qur'an 8:13 "This because they rejected Allah and defied His Messenger. If anyone opposes Allah and His Messenger, Allah shall be severe in punishment. That is the torment: ‘So taste the punishment. For those infidels who resist there is the torment of Hell.'" I guess your German translations don't have those verses. Quran is full of such contradicting verses where anyone can translate it according to his whim. For now i hope i have answered your doubts and i would be pleased to hear from you and i will be writing to you soon too regarding the other issues. Best regards, Don.
