To Nuray, Quran sanctions sex with captured womenReader comment on item: Is Allah God? Submitted by Hisham (United States), Nov 23, 2005 at 17:06 Dear Nuray : Either you are ignorant or in denial or using taqiyya. Norman may have read general comments, but all he wrote is right. Islam allows sex with captured women, you can deny all you want but facts dont change. Quran allows it and Mohammed and all sahaba practised it . History, and ahadiths confirm it.Read on:4.24 All married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess. It is a decree 23.6 Guard private parts except from wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy (read from 23.1-6) 33.50 O Prophet! We have made lawful to you the wives to whom you have given their dowers; and those ladies whom your right hands possess (from the prisoners of war) whom Allah has assigned to you; 33.52 It is not lawful for you (to marry other) women after this, nor to change them for other wives even though their beauty attracts you, except those (captives or slaves) whom your right hand possesses. And Allah is Ever a Watcher over all things." 70: 29-35 And those who guard their private parts, Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess – Tafsir Quran by Maodoodi, Book 10, page 137, footnote no. 94 "This verse explains why one is permitted to have conjugal relations with one's slave-girls besides the wedded wives, and there is no restriction on their number. The same thing has also been stated in Surah An-Nisa:3; Al-Mu'minun:6; and Al-Ma'arij:30. In all these verses the slave-girls have been mentioned as a separate class from the wedded wives, and conjugal relations with them have been permitted. "Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those (captives and slaves) whom your hands possess. Thus has Allah ordained for you….." Surah 4:24 Tafsir of Mawdudi, Book2, page 112, footnote 44: "That is, ‘Those women, who became prisoners of war, while their husbands are left behind in the War Zone, are not unlawful because their marriage ties have been broken by the fact that they have come into the Islamic Zone. It is lawful for those, in whose possession they are, to have sexual relations with them. Sunaan Abu Dawud: Book 11, number 2150 Abu Said al-Khudri said: "The apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Qur'anic verse, "And all married women (are forbidden) unto your save those (captives) whom your right hand possesses". That is to say, they are lawful for them when they complete their waiting period."" [The Qur'an verse is 4:24]. 002.106 SHAKIR: Whatever communications We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than it or like it. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?
