Bro, I don’t know what I said to give you that impression, but I am actually a Muslim!!
Any way, it’s good to have you here!
Just in case:
Ashhado Alla Ellaha Ella Allah Mohammadon Abdoho wa Rasolloh!!
Ashkorak Ya Raby Alla Naameata Al Islam!
The reason why I choose my name "Matthew 10:34" is to tell Christians if your house is made of Glass don't throw any stones. I mean that if you fear [Christians] that your religions may be misunderstood by careless means of interpretation, then don't do the same with Islam.
Matthew 10:34 states "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword"
For me, I don't care about the meanings of the words "sword" and "peace" though the literal meaning of the verse directly contradicts with what a lot of Christians talk about . Any way, there must be different interpretations. But as I said before, I can't say the truth about the bible since I never read the entire Bible. I am not sure if you agree, but I am sure you will feel bad if someone says he/she know's the truth after reading a 2 paged article on Islam with a couple of verses taken out of their context!! Someone may tell you the Quran says so and so, but you will never become convinced until you know when these verses were revealed and where does these verses stand amongst other verses on the same subject.
The Messenger of God said, "Should you become eager to mention another's faults, recall your own."
When I read this Hadith for the first time I realized that I do the same mistakes that other's do; that is unjustly attacking other's religion based on a limited amount of knowledge. And most importantly, trying to force my own interpretations on all Christians.
For example, Deuteronomy 14:8 (and Leviticus 11:7) says "You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses". In this case I can either say that Christians aren't following the teachings of the Bible, or I can just say they have their own interpretations and I have to respect it just as I want people to respect my interpretations and beliefs, and that’s what I want to do. I will just keep my own interpretations and opinions to my self. I will make them open to discussion, but not to offense others beliefs.
I am sure you feel so jealous for Islam, and so does so many, but we should all remember when the messenger of God said, "God veils the faults of anyone who suppresses his anger."
Al Sallamo Alikum!
