Jesus, the Son of YAHWEY is our true GodReader comment on item: Is Allah God? Submitted by true believer (India), Jun 26, 2006 at 08:48 >>You Said "Nothing has changed since the death of Jesus." Things have really changed after Jesus came to earth, but you have not seen it. It has changed for me. I was myself born in a Christian family raised in the so called Christian tradition, going to mass on sundays, observing the lents, fasts and holy days, but untill I accepted Jesus ar my personal saviour, I was struggling with evil. Some people call this "being born again". Belonging to a religion and defending a dogma vis -a -vis having true faith in true God are two very different things. Miracles and are being even today just in the name of Jesus. I am simply telling you what my eyes have seen and ears have heard. >>You said "People are still sinful and unfaithful before and after Jesus" Yes they are , but salvation is open to them. Man is weak as he was before, and as the Bible says the wages of sin is death. This death is not the physical death as we understand but eternal separation from God. In olden days the Jews used to offer a lamb without any defects as sin offering and believed that the sacrifice of the lamb would bring forgiveness for their sins.It was called the "sin" offering. After the death of Jesus on the cross everything changed. Jesus himself became that final sacrifice, ( a lamb without any defects ) so that the sin of humankind were forgiven. So man has the power to overcome sin, provided he believes in the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus made for him. That is why bible says. John 1:29 The next day John [John the baptist] saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! >>You said about Jesus "He didn't claim himself as God. Bible never justifies trinity. It is a man-made theory" Please go through the bible verses given below. Exodus 30:13 Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, ‘What is His name?' what shall I say to them?" John 8:54 Jesus answered, "If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. Read my post http://www.danielpipes.org/comments/46455 for more information. The bible has many references to the Messiah or the chosen one, and it was prophesised by the prophet Isaiah 800 years befort the birth of Jesus on earth in human form. Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our report? What I have quoted above are a part of the Jewish sacred scriptures, butmany of the Jews themselves never understood it. >>You said "What a humiliation for God." This is the most difficult part to understand. You know, my own father is a very righteous man. He never took any bribes from anybody in his whole life, never hurt any one knowingly. He was a perfect father. He never asked anybody anything. in fact, he was a very PROUD man. When I finished my schooling and had to go for pre university, back then we had a system of going to different colleges and collecting admision forms. There was no centralized admission system or common entrance exams here back then. We arrived late in one of the best colleges nearby and the person at counter for distributing forms stopped issuing them by then, in fact it was the last day for issuing forms. I was shocked to see that my father literally begging with the person at the counter to get an admission form. I have seen him go broke, but he never stretched out his hand before others. He was repeatedly pleading with the man at the counter but his pleas fell on deaf ears. I myself felt very bad. Later I asked him "What made you do it ? It was so humiliating ? Why did you have to do it ?" He simply said "I did it for you and I would do it again if required". I got admission somewhere else. He endured the humiliation only because he loved me and wanted good things for me. Well my own father is only human and his love has limits, but the love of my Heavenly Father that I accept as my God, does not have any limits. God is nothing but love and it is that love that binds us to him. This is the way I understand my God. Though I know that God and your God is the same, I believe that it is is not Allah.Think about it Nuray, If Mohammed and Jesus, both were really Allah's messengers their teachings and actions would NOT have been diametrically opposite to each other. Read the New testament Bible and compare both the teachings for yourself. I leave it to your modern mind to decide. In peace.
