Creating Miracles

It is really interesting to see what people who believe in different religions have different perspectives of each other's beliefs.

I am a Muslim who was raised in a Muslim country and now i am living in a Christianity dominated country where Islam is perceived as the religion of terrorists. And i have a christian husband.

All i can see is that here (back in my home country this wasnt an issue because nobody questioned Islam), everyone is saying "what i do is right and you are wrong."

Let me tell you stories. Non philosophical, real, happening stories.

In the Bible and Quran, there are miracles are being told. But have you ever created miracles? Have you ever tried to?

I did try to create miracles. And i tried many different ways. And only one of them is working FOR ME.

Well, what i call miracles is connecting with the higher power and creating situations or physical things that are VERY hard to be created if you didnt get any help from higher source. And keep repeating it so that you can be convinced that it is not just luck but it is a formula indeed.

The biggest miracle i have created is "finding my husband". That day i met him, during the day i was so upset, because i broke up with a boyfriend. I was crying and feeling lonely. Then i thought, i dont want any boyfriends any more. I just want him! The one. The one that i am going to get old with. Create a happy family with. I felt so fed up with this dating business and this desire literally was burning my heart. I just wanted love. I started praying in my own language, not necessarily Quran's language. Then i started talking to Allah like i am talking to a friend. It was a long conversation but summery is: I said, I know you love me so much, that's why you do things that you do to me even if i cant appreciate it at the time, and i want you to know that i love you as much as you love me, and i trust you will always do things that are going to bring me real happiness in the long term. But i request now, please make me happy and send me "the one, NOW!". At that point i was crying and shaking like a little baby. About an hour later one of my friends came and she said: Come on lets go out, this is friday night, you cant just drown in your own tears! I said "allright then" And there he was, i met my husbad there that night. How did i know he was the one? Because i just trusted Allah, God, Higher Power, The Source. What ever works for you. After 3 years we are still in love and having the best day ever together.

Another miracle: This happened a week ago. Our car insurance ran out and we didnt renew it. On top, I dont have a valid driving licence in this country (but i have a driving licence for 6 years in my country now and i m a good driver), and so it happens, the road tax is expired as well. The police stopped us because they spotted with their computer in their car that we didnt have insurance.. I knew i was going to be in big trouble. They can even put me in jail under these circumstances. As the police was approaching me, i said: My dear Allah, i love you so much, and i know you love me too. I trust you know what is better for me so i leave the situation in your hands. And the police came to me, asked for driving licence, i said: Havent got one. Asked for insurance details, and everything... Of course negative response. I just couldnt believe when she said: You could have been in a big trouble but i am going to let you go this time. Sort out all your paperwork!

I have got more stories like this (and the opposite stories where i didnt connect with Allah and ended up in big trouble) but to keep it short, i want to explain what i am trying to say. The formula to a peaceful world, abundant life, health and wealth, happiness is LOVE. When we start from love, it always ends up at love.

Now, I have a friend, she uses the same technique to get what she wants from life. There is one difference. She doesnt call it Allah. She calls it Universe. And that works for her. Not for me. But it is the same thing! It is just what you believe. What moves your emotions. You may call it God. Or something else. I cant care less, but for godsake, start from LOVE. Love each other. Celebrate the differences. See the beauty in people. Stop trying to explain what is God, what is Allah, what is religion.. Just accept that there is a higher power that you cant touch but you can experience if you let yourself. Do you know what is electricity? How does it work? But do you really need to know to be able to turn on the lights?? Just use this power...

I dont care if Bush's soldiers are killing Iraqi people, or i dont care if some terrorists doing suicide bombings... Because i know, human brain creates what it cares about. I care about love and happiness and that is what i have in my life.

I dont pray 5 times a day, i dont fast, i dont believe in stories, i do wear decolte, but i am proud to say i am Muslim because that moves my heart. Dont get trapped in the rules or taboos that other people created. Trust your feelings and God, Allah, Universe etc will guide you to a better life...
