A wrong question answered wronglyReader comment on item: Turkey in Cyprus vs. Israel in Gaza Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Sep 17, 2010 at 17:27 Caleb , I have to praise you for a change ! You're so good at confusion and fallacy ! Let me explain it a bit . You answer concerning my remark : "...tell us for what reason Karimov banned propaganda of Pan-Turkism in Uzbekistan, kicked out all the Turkish-sponsored agitators, closed down all Turkish-sponsored schools there..." as follows : > That's easy. Because Karimov got orders from Moscow whose stooge and puppet he is. < Now my remark is just a reply to what you wrote on Pan-Turkism . And here are your words : "> All this was to oppose a "pan Turkism" which existed only in the propaganda of the new Armenian state. < So you make two mutually exclusive statements at the same time. You deny the Pan-Turkic agenda which as you put it "existed only in the propaganda of the new Armenian state". But when asked about the ban of Pan-Turkism in Uzbekistan you don't even remember what you have said before. You don't deny the Pan-Turkic subversive activities and propaganda in Uzbekistan ! You say positively you know about its existence not "only in the propaganda of the new Armenian state" but also in Uzbekistan ! And you allegedly know why it was banned in Uzbekistan which implies you also must know why it hasn't been banned in other Central Asian Republics too . Won't you tell us ? > Here's the straight dope on "Big Papa" Karimov, Communist holdover... http://www.rferl.org/content/Uzbekistans_Big_Papa_Karimov_Marks_20_Years_Of_IronFisted_Rule/1761704.html < Now , if you ever cared about Central Asia and its needs and not about a Pan-Turkic empire the imams and generals from Ankara are trying to build, then you would know that Central Asia was the strongest supporter and friend of the USSR. In March 1991 it ALL voted in favour of the preservation of the USSR : Kasakhstan - 94%, Azerbaijan - 93,3% , Kirgistan 96,4%, Turkmenistan 97,9% , Tajikistan 96,2% . For a variety of reasons they were in favour of the Soviet Union which meant a huge progress in comparison to obscurantist emirates, Enver Pasha's Pan-Turkic terrorist calipahte, let alone the post Soviet criminal chaos and Pan-Turkism that is a new aggressive and disruptive force in the region. It is not only Karimov that saw it in this light. Everybody that was in power after 1991 was a communist - Nazarbayev, Akayev, Niyazov, Mutalibov, Aliyev etc. etc. They all understood that Russia is a factor of stability in central Asia and Turkey is a factor of chaos in the region. Just take a look at what happened to the Azeris when they chose the Turks as their masters - military defeats, refugees, economic ruin and total political dependence on Turkey. And whatever you may say about communism, it is a million times more progressive force than teh paranoia called Islam! > One thing more...1988 was when Armenia launched its attack on Azerbaijan. < No, it is to the Sumgait massacres staged by the Azeri Turks in Sumgait in February 1988 that the Armenians responded with self-defence. So it is exactly how the Greeks in Cyprus responded to the 1958 Turkish terror and killings of Greeks. The original tortfeasor in both cases is the same - the Moslem Turk who is always provoking violence and conflicts and can't live with anybody in peace and yet always blames the victims of his jihadist paranoia ! > 1991 was three years later.< It is when the Turks entered Azerbaijan promising their brethren in Allah as swift and easy victory in Nagorno-Krabakh as they themselves have gained in Cyprus. But instead of drinking water in Lake Sevan as Elcebey promised his jihadists the Turks fled and suffered one ignominous defeat after another and all the Turkish army generals and officers in the Azeri army couldn't break one small but determined army fighting the Turkish arch-enemy of civilization and humanity ! Anyway, what was you Allah doing while his jihadists were being mown down in the environs of Shusha by the infidel Armenians ? Was he drunk or what ?
