Comrade Ataturk and his bolshevik brothersReader comment on item: Turkey in Cyprus vs. Israel in Gaza Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Sep 22, 2010 at 08:03 Caleb , Reading your comments I am amazed ... Is there any subject you can deal with with some basic common sense and not as a field of nauseating Turkish propaganda ? Having admitted there is too much history for you why don't you simply stop speaking of it ? You write : > you want to blame today's crummy, down-at-the-heels look of ex-Soviet Armenia on events ninety-five years in the past, well, go ahead! The Armenians separated from Turkey but instead of freedom, economic and political, for these talented capitalists they got a Soviet Socialist Republic and sixty-five years of neglect.< Just to make your short memory a bit longer. The Armenians didn't seperate from Turkey. Those who lived in Turkey were exterminated by the Turks. Those who lived in Russia formed after 1917 Dashnak Armenia. As they were against the Bolsheviks who had seized power in Petrograd they fell victim to the Kemalist-Bolshevik conspiracy. It was Kemal who wooed Lenin from the very first moment he started organizing his movement in May 1919. On 20.04.1920 , i.e. just three days after opening the Grand National Assembly , Kemal wrote a flattering letter in the name of his government to Lenin asking for establishing diplomatic relations and for big military aid to "fight imperialist governments" together. On 2.06.1920 Chicherin responded officially to this letter. On 19.07.1920 the Turkish delegation with foreign minister Bekir Sami arrived at Mosow. On 4.10. 1920 the Soviet diplomatic and military missions came to Angora. Its head was Y.Y. Upmal-Angarskiy who was immediately received by Kemal. 3 days later the Soviet embassy was officially opened. It was the only foreign embassy in Angora at that time. Military aid followed including uniforms, rifles, machine-guns, radios, shells etc. etc. Now the first common Soviet-Kemalist move was a war against Dashnak Armenia provoked on 24.09.1920 by the Kemalist hordes which committed unspeakble atrocities during it (the Kemalist phase of the Armenian genocide) and on 2.12.1920 imposed a peace treaty upon Armenia in Alexadroupolis which deprived Armenia of Kars, Ardagan and Artvin. At the same time profiting from the Armenian defeats and genocide perpetrated by comrade Kemal the Soviet comrades moved their troops from Azerbaijan into Armenia. On 4.11. Soviet troops allied with the Turks occupied Erivan, on 29.11. Armenian Bolsheviks proclaimed Soviet Armenia which entered Soviet Russia the same day Kemal's generals signed the treaty of Alexandroupol . The final frontiers were established not in Alexandropol but in Moscow when on 16.03.1921 the solemn treaty of the "Soviet-Turkish Friendship and Brotherhood" was signed. Beside Kars, Ardagan and Artvin Kemal was rewarded with 10 000 000 gold rubles. Later in the critical days of 1921 over Novorossiysk, Tuapse and Batumi comrade Kemal got from comrade Lenin 39 000 rifles, 327 heavy machine guns, 54 big cannons, 63 mln bullets, 147 000 artillery shells and more. The former tsarist military equipment left in Eastern provinces was given for free to the Turks together with an army of former Turkish POWs in Russia. In 1921 two Russian destroyers ("Zhyvoy" and "Zhutkiy") were turned over to Turkey. The bolsheviks transported a complete powder and bullet factory to Angora together with all the necessary raw materials, expertise and instructors. More gold followed to keep the Kemalist regime alive. The Soviet envoy Upmal-Angarskiy bestowed upon Kemal 200,6 kg of pure gold promised earlier. Caleb , you once timidly hinted at the 'convergence of interests between Kemalist and Leninist regimes. Your "convergence" happens to have been a strategic alliance that saved from certain ruin. But Turks - these mankurts - have no memory worth the name at all. Having been saved by communism they pretend to be saunchly anti-communist! They repeat the same nasty game of perfidy and treason this time with with Russia's successors in the role of Turkey's saviour , protector and promoter - the US . Well, it's extremely dangerous and harmful to give up verifiable historical memory and trust the promises of the perfidious Turk ! The Russians have already learnt their lesson. The Americans hopefully will as well.
