SADLY ROMNEY BLEW ITReader comment on item: Romney Stumbles on Foreign Policy Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), Oct 23, 2012 at 19:47 I am sad to say that Romney blew it more than once. He had the opportunity to talk about the Benghazi fiasco and did not jump to crucify Obama with all that we know today He let himself be insulted with the horses and bayonets without replying that Obama has never been in the army and would not know how to use any of them Some say that Americans do not care as much about foreign policy as they care for the economy, and on this issue Romney may have been right to bring up the point, but mised staying with the issue. Yes, Romney was more peaceful. He is the only one who spoke of peace, while Obama was out there to nail him every way he could. As for me this debate did not impress me and yes Romney agreed too much with Obama. I would have asked him: are we better off today having gotten rid of the despots and Bin Laden? I will say that there is no difference with or without Bin Laden, Al Qaeda is here to stay. And the US will no get rid of them, it will have to come from within if we are smart and sadly no one knows how to deal with the Arab world. Sadly, none of the candidates know deeply the problems of the issue at hand and thus cannot solve it. JACQUES HADIDA
