there is no apparent daylight between Romney and Obama on foreign policyReader comment on item: Romney Stumbles on Foreign Policy Submitted by Emanuela (United States), Oct 27, 2012 at 03:28 I have to agree with the assessment that you gave in response to a reader's comment, Mr. Pipes, Romney's foreign policy is too reminiscent of Obama. The truth is that Republicans are running from George W. Bush and the Freedom Agenda, which for me is very sad to see, indeed. I think history will vindicate George W. Bush and in fact, I think the Arab Spring in the years to come will be seen as his greatest legacy, although we are promptly squandering the opportunities that present for creating trust and help build the infrastructure and institutions of democracy in Middle Eastern countries. At our own peril, I may add. In my opinion, Romney has no vision for foreign policy, he has not articulated any that I can see, save for a few sporadic remarks that taken together don't indicate an organic vision but rather a disjointed one.
