Train wreck= Obama's Foreign PolicyReader comment on item: Romney Stumbles on Foreign Policy Submitted by mjazzguitar (United States), Nov 4, 2012 at 14:46 Obama's foreign policy more closely resembles a train wreck. The first thing he did was return the bust of Churchill to England, and someone in his administration said there was nothing special about our relationship with England. On the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Poland, he announced that they weren't getting a missile defense system there as had been planned. He says no to a pipeline from Canada, our neighbor to the north. He treated Netanyahu like dirt, telling him he was going to eat and "let me know if you come up with something" and they escorted him out the back door where the trash was. The Dalai Lama got the same treatment, because he wanted a photo to show China, the occupiers of Tibet. He is of the opinion that Jews should not build apartments in Jerusalem, some areas in their capitol should be off limits to Jews. Displaying no knowledge of the Oslo Accords, he scuttled them completely by saying Israel should return to the 1949 armistice lines and trade land from those boundaries. This, the only democratic country in the region that has freedom of religion and women have equal rights, surrounded by enemies seeking it's destruction, and Obama's administration was the first one to leak Israel's sesitive security information. Why treat your longtime allies so shabbily? In turn he bows to the leaders of Saudi Arabia, a country where there is no freedom of religion, women can't even leave the house without a male relative, and they are whipped for getting raped and schoolgirls were forced to stay in a school to burn to death because they weren't covered properly. Mubarak was no angel but tossing him out only to be replaced by the muslim brotherhood is no stroke of genius, plus he bypasses Congress and gives them $150 billion. Gaddafi was no threat to the US, but Obama helps to get him murdered and now it looks like we'll get yet another radical jihadist government in the middle east. Yet, when the only country in the region capable of democracy in the region, Iran, has a popular uprising, he does nothing.
