Everything you say is true, butReader comment on item: Romney Stumbles on Foreign Policy Submitted by sara (United States), Oct 27, 2012 at 19:11 I agree with every point you made and yes, Romney has a lot of articulating and expounding to do vis a vis foreign policy. But I think that, in reading this election, his campaign have made the decision to keep things general and keep the sharp focus on the economy. Both because it must remain the first priority no matter what, and that impacts foreign policy too, and also because voters care about it most and don't need to be bogged down with more talking points. Romney knows that if he keeps the laser focus on the economy he has the best shot to win. That's why he pulled back in the third debate and why he doesn't say much in public. Not only will the press skewer and twist anything he says, but it again takes away the focus from- you guessed it- the economy. Let us hope that he knows what he's doing. But truth be told, with the tremendous obstacles against him (biased press etc) he has done a pretty good job, but may not be enough. We will soon find out.
